Re: Scottish Premier - 01/02 October

To be fair so do I. (And I'll probably be betting on it too.)

The 4:1 last season was about our lowest ebb in the last few years, but there's a difference this year.

Last season our terrible results were met with passionate calls for Gough/Preston's heads, and at the very least the fans were getting very concerned about the state of the club.

But this year, with Falkirk and Dunfermline now slowly beginning to pick up points(and still to play each other in this round of games) the fans are almost resigned to relegation already.

From the messageboards:

In all honesty I just don't care anymore. Having watched the club being completely mismanaged both on and off the park over recent seasons, I am now desensitised to the utter shite on display each week. I still turn up at most games, but I don't enjoy it and am guilty of simply going through the motions. Stay up, go down, I don't care.

Sums my feelings up perfectly. I felt like I wanted to leave to go home at half time on Saturday I was that dejected, but as usual I stayed until the end and lived to regret it. I'm really starting to not give a toss about Livingston FC anymore. If it wasn't for my season ticket I'd go off and get myself a Saturday part-time job. Only reason I haven't is because I've followed Livi home and away for ages. Not this season. Even my father who is a hardcore football nut and has followed football home and away for decades has become apathetic and can't be bothered with the team anymore. I'll turn up to the odd away game, but for the most part I'm saving my cash and staring at my mothers cooking. Least that way it means that I'm not paying to watch sh*te stay still.

Just now this guff isn't good to watch at all. I'm looking forward to when we are officially relegated come March time, and we can finally go out, without fear of anything and actually play some decent football. I remember St Johnstone from our first season up. Got themselves relegated then started playing some good football. Think they even beat us 3-0 up in Perth.
A lack of money is preventing me making some of the games this season, but after all the effort put into supporting the team at the tail end of last season, and the superb atmosphere that was involved in those games, it's all gone flat again, and there's nothing to get excited about.

Just a Fernandez in the centre of the pitch would have got a bit of a buzz going around the place, but players like Derek Adams and Dickie Brittain are uninspiring to say the least.

Depressing - its just as well there's money to be made in it
