Re: UK Midweek Friendly Madness - 18/22nd July

Agreed Crowie.

But to be fair - Brann are very much into their season so fitness and sharpness etc will be at a much higher level than Birminghams.

Celtic seemed to be lucky to get that draw it seems. Boruc was meant to have put in a great display, saving a penalty and other top saves throughout the match.

Strachan better watch, i know they are only friendlies so far but Celtics displays have been very poor and the fans are going to start putting him under a lot of pressure shortly.

Re: UK Midweek Friendly Madness - 18/22nd July

Bournemouth v Southampton Friday

Skybet seem to have forgotton that the Saints were relegated last season and that 13 players have left the club as a result. They have priced them up at 4/6 to win this pre season friendly away from home.

They have only so far brought in 2 new players on free transfers and the transfer of Crouch this week means that all their established forwards have left on the back of Camara and Phillips going elsewhere.

Harry knew nothing of Crouchs transfer until it was too late. Not sure how he would feel about this but he may want to reinforce his point to Rupert that he needs at least 5 new players. A defeat at Bournemouth might help.

Worth 2pts on Bournemouth at 4.50 bearing in mind it is a derby and there is only one division between them
