Re: UK Midweek Friendly Madness - 18/22nd July

Cardiff have taken off about 9 players. Dont even think theyve replaced them

They got Kevin Campbell up front for them? Well he's off. Goal scorers off too

Re: UK Midweek Friendly Madness - 18/22nd July

Bloody hell - what a pain in the ass it was to find that result.

I tried Sky Sports, BBC, Hull's site, message boards. Ended up having to find a Canvey Island site. Hull won 2-1.

600 behind you still Komp. It will come!

Re: UK Midweek Friendly Madness - 18/22nd July

Awww no...im beginning to get interested in Celtic tonight.

It all depends on the lineup they start with - Strachan has already said he will test out a few more youngsters tonight, but will also be keen to get a result on the board after the Fulham game, and so might well start off with a strong side and bring the youngsters in as the game goes on.

Leicester just came off a 5-1 defeat to Lillestrom, and signing players like Sylla, Douglas and De Vries suggests they are operating at a class below Celtic right now. They are a team in transition, and I can see a narrow win for the 'Tic tonight.

All depends on the team they start with, so itll be a late bet if at all for me, but hopefully I'll talk myself out of it before then.

Re: UK Midweek Friendly Madness - 18/22nd July

I kind of liked the look of Celtic until i seen Strachan being interviewed and saying he is going to give some players shorter run outs as he is concerned about players getting injured.

They should be too strong for Leicster - i dont know. Im starting to not go near the friendlies, until i see the next match that interests me of course.

Re: UK Midweek Friendly Madness - 18/22nd July

Accrington Stanley v Preston

Preston are also playing Lancaster tonight.

They have therefore split the squad in two sending 1st choice players to both fixtures. This will weaken both teams and prices are available on the above fixture. The 5.00 offered by Paddy Power on Stanley is worth a 1pt speculative punt

Gretna 2 - 1 Livingston
