Re: UK Midweek Friendly Madness - 18/22nd July

I'll not be betting on it, but from what I can gather Cardiff will be using the game to try and give as many players a decent run out as possible.

They'll be taking it seriously, but as Dave Jones says "you don't get any points from friendlies. These games are all about fitness."

Cant get on it but folks know im pretty serious about my vcash and want to not just finish top but finnish well top I have a wee feeling and i think im gonna have to follow it. Gonna go for a last scout though before deciding more of how much.

[quote=kompressaur]You really dont fancy Cardiff do you Zonker? You had a bad experience in Cardiff Zonks? (do they have Rent-boyo's in Cardiff? )
QUOTE]

Made me smile Komp. But still cannae believe I'm reading a thread about sodding friendlies

What I saw of the Rangers game they looked good in patches and should have won by more than they did but how good are Linfield ?

Celtic where piss poor - honest and even they should have got gubbed but had a glorious chance to sneak it with the penalty. OK in a real game Fulham's keeper would have walked and they would have been down to 10 men. Ok it was also their first friendly but odds on. Not for me.

Both games are on the respected channels on Sky - Celtic TV and Rangers TV so might dabble just for interst.

No what am I doing - stop it - be disciplined

Re: UK Midweek Friendly Madness - 18/22nd July

Get some readies in before then Kegman on Cardiff. How about you put on half of what you would put on Celtic and Rangers and add Cardiff and just go for all three flowing the same train of thought for them all.

Oh i just looked at Rangers game. I dont fancy them at all in that. Didnt they meet last pre-season Rangers/Ipswich?

Celtic seem to play Leicster every pre-season too. They met last season didnt they?

Ah I see...I was off having a look round Cardiff Mad messageboard which is busy as well.

If I wasn't so lazy I'd sign up and set them straight about the joys of David Fernandez
