Re: Saturday Friendlies - Nice Big Coupon :)

Regarding Hereford match. There should be massive value in that, Bristol are supposed to be fielding a reserve side.

Hereford had a great season last, and were unlucky to not go up so them odds are too big for me.

As are Accringtons odds, who again - came on strong towards the end of the season and should show up well against a poor cardiff side.

Nothing else stands out for me - possibly laying Ipswich maybe. But i do certainly like the Celtic bet for all the reasons stated earlier.

The Linfield v Rangers game is on the Rangers channel and the Fulham v Celtic game is on the Celtic channel.

Both these channels are now free to setanta subscribers.

We must be bonkers betting on these games but I have decided to join the asylum as well.

Burton v Chester

Burton played last night. They put out their strongest side although it was only against the local pub side.

Today they are at home in their new stadium. The intend to play a few trialists to see what they are made of. They will also start with their fringe players.

Chester have a new manager and today a new centre forward signed from Doncaster (Blundell). They played during the week against a pub side as well. They changed the starting line up completely at half time. I just get the impression that Keith Curle wants to hit the ground running when the season starts and is putting great emphasis on getting the squad at peak fitness.

Small stakes on chester at 7/5

.
Bristol City website gives the respective squads for the two games that they are playing today.

AMP will no better than me but it looks like the first team will be going to Hereford.

Also expect Hereford to make a number of substitutions as they want to some triallists a run out. Can be disruptive to their performance

Viking will field a mixed squad, with some new players and other youngs. What about Birmingam squad?

Word of warning to anyone thinking of backing Everton today.

Richard "butterfingers" Wright is likely to be given a run out in goal. We do not win when he is between the sticks and he was also present during humiliating performances such as 7-0 at Arsenal
