Dont know if anyone will get involved in these games. All i can add is that Kilmarnock dont seem to do that well in these sort of games pre-season. I would suggest Southampton should win pretty easily if they bring a team with them

Re: UK Friendly Betting Madness - 13-15th Jul

Southampton's touring party is strong, with players like Niemi, Crouch, Pahars etc all travelling up. Killie have been away training at altitude for the last week in Europe so have some decent training under their belts.

Debating whether or not to get involved in this game over the next few days. With the Killie team as uninspiring as ever, and what one can imagine will be a less than bumper attendance, those odds on Southampton could be a steal.

Re: UK Friendly Betting Madness - 13-15th Jul

I've been considering betting on these the last day or so.

The only team i would get involved with at the minute would be West Brom. They have been taking their strongest 11 to each friendly running out 10-0 winners in their last match against Rushden.

Im also going to wait for the Celtic v Fulham match. Celtics odds were something like 2.27 if i remember right. Celtic have a great record against English sides in friendlies and will be fielding a strong side as their Champions League qualifier is just around the corner.

I never really bet on friendlies, but if you have some strong info, go for it. The only problem is that you'll get teams making 11 changes at HT and so on. You really need to know what their intentions are before the kick-off. Not the sort of games to be backing short-priced favourites in I would think though

Re: UK Friendly Betting Madness - 13-15th Jul

Certainly not Zonker. Its all about the above evens bets in friendlies.

For Killie-Southampton we have a perfect game to build up to it tonight with Motherwell at home to Redknapps boys. Similar standard opposition, and we'll get to see just how Redknapp is planning to experiment.

Your Celtic bet could be a good un Keeks - they always get a large and vocal following in England don't they?

Re: UK Friendly Betting Madness - 13-15th Jul

Yeah - they usually have a massive following behind them.

If my memory serves me right they have Fulham, QPR and Leicster. QPR and Fulham are regular games pre season now and Celtic won there both times last season.

Strachan needs as many games as he can to get his team to gel together and prepare for the Champions League matches so im expecting a good and solid starting 11 each time.

Cheers Komp...got a headache now

BKM...Skybet, Bet365, Gamebookers and Betfair looks like the best shout for friendly betting.

Southampton won 2-1 tonight, with a Motherwell goal disallowed. Loads of half time changes, so it looks about as inconclusive as ever. I reckon Ill be avoiding the Killie match
