Re: Ante Post Bets

Sorry AMP - I never realised that was there otherwise i wouldve just put a sticky on your one.

I haven't come up with anything as of yet - waiting a week or so more to see how transfer dealings develop.

Re: Ante Post Bets

You're right zonker, there are some superb match bets there.

Inverness over Killie at evens could well be tempting, as would Livi over Dunfermline, but that will all depend on the signings over the next two weeks. A couple to keep an eye on though.

Re: Ante Post Bets

It's always tricky laying the new boys as they invariably take vital points early on and it can take a while before the others have worked 'em out.

However, I've been looking at Wigan's transfer activity and I have to say, it doesn't look good.
They open with a home fixture against Chelsea and I'm guessing that Mourinho will have done his homework and his side will step neatly around this banana skin.

The exchange has Wigan to go down at 1,88 which could be tradeable at a fairly early stage.

Sorry Wigan ..

Re: Ante Post Bets

Fulham to be relegated @ 4/1 bet365

I really think Fulham will struggle this season, with West Ham taking that 17th spot from them if they get a decent striker.

Coleman has lost Van De Sar , a man who kept them in the game too many times to mention; lost Andy Cole- a proven striker at least; looks to be losing Boa Morte , who along with Steed Malbranque is the key to success for them, and could struggle to kepp big Papa if the right offer comes along.
I'm amazed that Malbranque hasn't been snapped up by someone...he's a brilliantly inventive player, with superb vision and scores goals. ( Man City could use him, hook up well with Musampa that's for sure, and I expect some club will go for him before long)
Boa Morte terrifies any defence with his pace and confidence, so without him you have to wonder who will lead the line

They have a 5 game opening run of:
13 AugBirmingham (H)
20 AugBlackburn (A)
24 AugArsenal (A)
27 AugEverton (H)
10 SepNewcastle (A)

I don't see them winning ANY of those matches , collecting 2 pts at most, so they could easily be bottom by the end of August , and still there after the 10th at St James Park.

Coleman @ 6/1 first to be sacked (bet365)
Fulham @ 16/1 to be bottom at end of August (paddy power)

That 16/1 looks a fantastic price, especially if Boa Morte is gone by then.
