Re: Non League 12-13th Feb

I fancy Worcester @1.85 local.

Home side are in good form and Vauxhall have to deal with some missings.

"City take on Vauxhall Motors on Monday night desperate to get back on track. Two away defeats have seen The Blues go out of the FA Trophy and get a little further away from the Play-off zone. Vauxhall are also struggling for some form and have only picked up 2 points out of a possible 12, including a 5-1 home humbling by Harrogate. Worcester go into this sixth meeting, between the clubs, trying to level things up, having won 1, drawn 2 and lost 2.

Big, stong and well organised, Vauxhall will be a stern test but the Motorman to look out for is one with a famous family member. Attacking midfielder Thomas Rooney scored two goals in his last four matches before getting injured and missing the defeat at Farsley. Vauxhall will hope that the postponement of this weekends game with Redditch has given Rooney and fellow injury victim Mike Garrity time to recover. For City Chris Smith returns after suspension but Chris Cornes is doubtful after limping off minutes after coming on as substitute at Scarborough on Saturday.

Vauxhall don't have a massive fanbase, one home match this season saw an attendance of 99, but they are certainly memorable. At their last visit to the lane one eccentric supporter tried to plant a bush shaped stake on the penalty spot at half time, only to be chased away by the Worcester groundsman worried about the state of the pitch.

Victory for Worcester will take them up to ninth place but only two points away from the play-off zone, with a game in hand on 5th placed Moor Green."

"Vauxhall, whose home game against Redditch United last Saturday was postponed because of a waterlogged pitch, have defender Lee Dames, midfielder Mike Garritty and leading scorer Lee Furlong suspended, but striker Thomas Rooney hopes to pass a late fitness check on his hamstring injury.

“With our game being off at the weekend, it has given Thomas a couple of extra days, and hopefully he will be okay,” said Macauley.

The Motormen will be looking for their second double of the season, having beaten Worcester 2-0 at home in September."

Re: Non League 12-13th Feb

For Wednesday I would have Nuneaton to beat Stalybridge and Matlock to be called off. My local Unibond club have been trying to play Matlock in The Derbyshire senior cup, but it has been called off 7 consecutive times due to freezing and a waterlogged pitch. They found a solution this weekend and decided to play it at Belper Town's ground but unfortunately it was called off due to a waterlogged pitch.
