Shane Long @ 7/1 to score at anytime...laddies have posted this price when the industry average is only 2.875....I've just opened an account with them to take the price as it's way out of line....went thru ok.

check it out as I believe it's a big mistake.

It IS a mistake. That should be the price for first goalscorer and not anytime. It will be voided as a palpable error.

They buggered up the pricing on the Scotland-Germany U-21 game the other night as well. They put Scotland @ 1.66 and Germany @ 4.50. :loon

No chance they'd have paid out on that.

I stuck £100 on a palpable error on the baseball at paddypower (i think), and they happily payed out the winnings!

that's what I saw it as ODM , but it has been processed on the system and the responsibility is theirs....shop errors are usually allowed to stand except in cases where the take out is huge.
As long as the liability is contained to a low enough limit they will stand the bet ...customer service for a new client....that's the edge in this one.

if you go into a shop and they have priced a good incorrectly they are obligated to offer it to you at the advertised price...many don't of course and nobody bothers to challenge them , but it's well worth a punt as edinlichtie says.....
they've included lomana lua lua in lists for goalscorer, so someone must be having a bad day....or else they are just very poor judges of footy!!!

Maybe the reason that nobody bothers to challenge them is that gambling transactions are'nt enforceable by law. They can do what they want basically and all you can do is refer them to the Ombudsman and then wait for them to tell you to fuck off.

As far as usually allowed to stand, hmm not necessarily, if its an error made in one shop then its down to the discretion of the manager (up to a certain amount).

If its a price error thats available in all the shops then most likely you will get the "correct" price. Theres nothing in the rules about them having to pay you and they dont have any responsibility to pay you on the price you have been given.

Like you say you may get a discretionary payment but I wouldnt count on it. If they do get hammered with it then I would think not but you could be the only person in the world on it and depending on who makes the decision still not get it.

Thats not true. You can have the correct price or your money back. If your nice to the manager they might sort you out, depends though. Nowhere in the rules does it say incorrect prices will be honoured, says pretty much the opposite.

true Wazik...it is very much a discretionary payment in shops, but if you go about it the right way and move it up to the higher levels the majority get paid...i base this on 15 years in the bookies, 10 with laddies....knowing how the system works pays off in the end, but unfortunately not many do, so they get away with it.
