Re: Scottish Premier League: 10th-11th Feb

Got myself a fairly hefty bet on Motherwell too for all the reasons listed above...along with Killie, Falkirk are a side that I can never seem to put my finger on so I've got everything crossed that tomorrow they are as poor as we all hope

Got a smaller bet on ICT at 5.60 as well...they keep it tight 9 times out of 10 and that could frustrate Hearts at home...its been bad news after bad news at Tynecastle and even though ICT have been indifferent of late, they have always shown an ability to sneak 1-0 wins against the big sides and I'm gonna have a wee nibble on them doing it again.

Well I was right about my own team.Scrappy game and they score two in two minutes with the worlds worst referee Craig Thompson putting in another inept performance.If you ever see him refereeing another Falkirk game buy the bookings..

Cheers trainbairn and everyone else who chipped in on the Motherwell punt...it paid nicely.

Inverness game did indeed finish unders - just a shame it was Hearts that edged what seemed an even game.

Thats some price your getting on Rangers @ betfair Dave. I'm gonna go have a look. As you say these games are usually tight but Rangers tend to get the win (better check the recent record) I would say that 4/7 and all the prices wasnt worth it but if i can get 4/5 then i definatly will be into looking more.

1.74 is the best i can see. mmmmm sounds about ight poss. I dunno. Rangers pretty much full strength?

There was a bit of debate about whether McGregor was fit or not earlier in the week. If we were still in the Cup last week, he probably wouldnt have played but it looks like he'll be ok for tomorrow now. Even if not, Klos is some 2nd keeper to have on your bench.

As it says there, Buffel, Prso, Smith and Webster are all out. Buffel hasn't done fuck all this season and he likes to play in the hole behind the strikers (something he isn't doing since we play 4-4-2). Prso is a blow because he is just different class, movement, touch, trickery. Just a shame he has 2 dodgy knees (out with a hamstring inj. just know though) and can only go for about 60 mins these days. Smith has been our most consistent player this year from left back, likes to get forward and put crosses in with his demon left peg. A blow but Ian Murray has come back in and has played very well in that position. Webster is a good player but hasn't been in the team yet so no real loss just now.

Prso is probably the only real blow, like I say he's just simply a class player (tore the Brazil defence to shreds in the WC imo). Smith is a bad one but Murray has that covered, so all-in-all we're still pretty damn close to full strength.

Kevin Thomson will probably start on the bench imo, Hemdani hasn't really put a foot wrong in centre mid to deserve to be dropped and Thomson was involved for 90 mins midweek captaining the Scotland B team, but would expect him to make an appearance at some point.

BF had us at 1.8 earlier in the week but as you can imagine, it didn't stay there long.

Better value bets would be on 1-0, 2-0 or 2-1 scores imo, for the reasons I mentioned before. New defence made up of 2 experienced defenders, haven't conceded in 3 games and the recent for/ag. goal averages for both teams. Will probably look at Unders as well, as I mentioned before.

And Charlie Adam or Barry Ferguson for a little outside bet to score first or at any time.

Heres the recent form again Komp.

Last 8 games: Kil - 3-1-4 WWLLDLLW ::: Gers - 4-3-1

Last 5 Homes/Aways: 1-2-2 (F 3, A 5) ::: 3-0-2 (F 5, A 4)

Last 6 h2h: R 3-0 K, K 2-2 R, K 1-3 R, R 4-0 K, K 2-3 R, R 3-0 K

And the team will probably lineup like this IMO;

------------------------McGregor----------------------

-----Hutton--------Ehiogu-------Weir-----------Murray------

---Burke----------Ferguson-------Hemdani--------Adam

-----------------Novo-----------Boyd------------------

Sionko was used on the right ahead of Burke in our last game (no idea why, the youngster is the better player imo), but he should be back in, he's the creative spark missing from our team in recent games.
