Re: Scots 1-2-3 10th Feb

If I'm not betting I'm getting ready to bet. Division 3 is done and dusted apart from injury news.

Albion-Stenhousemuir. over 2.5 @ 1.75 or better. Last two games between these two ended 3-2 and 5-2. I might be forced into over 2.75 but i think these teams can do it.

Berwick-Montrose. Away +1.25 @2.12??? Berwick lost to Elgin and Montrose put 4 past East Stirling with no reply, could Berwick suffer another upset or at least struggle?

got skittles, mustrun

called off.

East Fife-Dumbarton. East Fife at home: p12 f17 a 9 Dumarton away p11 f12 a9. <2.5 @1.877 looks good enough for me.

East Sirling-Queens Park. under 2.75 @ 1.917.
East Stirling home: p9 f9 a16
QP away p11 f13 a12

Re: Scots 1-2-3 10th Feb

Albion R. (2.05) Draw (3.6) Stenhousemuir (3.75)
Arbroath (1.55) Draw (4.3) Elgin (6)
Berwick (1.44) Draw (4.5) Montrose (7)
East Fife (2.8) Draw (3.5) Dumbarton (2.5)
East Stirling (4.6) Draw (4) Queens Park (1.8)

Albion v Stenny - Stenny weren't too bad last week, slow defence, but looked quite solid, whilst not creating too much. Albion the week before were much the same, but created even less. Definitely think 11/4 is huge for Stenny tho from my viewing of both teams.

Arbroath v Elgin - Horrible, Arbroath short odds against our bogey team of recent seasons. I'd love to think this will be an easy home win, but it won't be. I still fancy us to get the result, but couldn't persuade me to back it!

Berwick v Montrose - Berwick great at home, but floundering to lowly Elgin last week. Montrose crap in the league, but getting the result last week. 4/9 way too short to tempt me, i'd prefer a speculative few pence on the 6/1 on Montrose.

EF v Dumbarton - I dunno... EF just not getting the results these days, close to the bottom of the form table (W0 D4 L2). Dumbarton getting some good results, followed by poor ones. (saying that, they're in reasonable form of late...). Gut feeling this will be a really close game, and i'd say DRAW.

Shire v QP - Shire poor, and QP average. Love to back against Shire usually, but not at odds on, horrible pitch etc etc. Give this a miss.

Not the best 3rd div card this week, but a couple of fancies...

Stenhousemuir is my favourite bet of the week. Are having a horrible season, but i like the long odds, medium stake.

Small interest on Montrose @ 6/1+, and Fife-Dumb draw.

Re: Scots 1-2-3 10th Feb

Quick thoughts on the card:

Clyde vs Livingston looks about right for me not really interested either and add Dundee vs St Johnstone to that they really hate each other do they!!!. Gretna lost both games to Airdrie is that right - i'm sure it is better look that up when i get one moment although i expect them to win but could Airdrie be a forfar and be a bogey team to Gretna. Hamilton vs QOS and i had Hamilton about evens and very surprised to see QOS price although negative is hamilton home form and QOS away form but Tosh signing for QOS is a massive plus - excellent player at the dons and why is he not playing SPL mmm might look at QOS. Partick vs Ross County is a game i'm not getting involved with.

Alloa vs Stranraer is a game i'm not going to be interested in, Ayr vs Raith and i do fancy Raith to keep up the great record. Cowdenbeath vs Stirling looks about right i suppose. Morton vs Brechin points to home win. Peterhead i expect to beat Forfar.

Albion Rovers vs Stenny and although stenny are poor 11/4 looks a bit massive does it. I remember beating on this game last time as Albion Rovers was about 3/1 or something like that and they was up 2-0 at half time and lost 5-2 i think - buggers :D still Chaplin at Albion Rovers still is a minus. Arbroath vs Elgin mmm bit of a bogey team at times - stay way at that price. Berwick vs Montrose and i thought montrose always does well at Berwick, could be wrong though. East Fife vs Dumbarton and i fancy East Fife to win although they aint got a result for awhile now - maybe stay away but 9/5 is tempting. East Stirlingshire vs Queen Park i'm not that interested.

Re: Scots 1-2-3 10th Feb

Only game that interests me so far in the lowere Scottish is Stirling to beat Cowdenbeath. 6/5 with Lads is about the best price I can get (without opening more accounts) and I think that is pretty decent.

Cowdenbeath had a good 1-1 draw against Morton but lost other 2 against lowely Forfar and Peterhead and Stirling got beat 2-1 by Morton but have won last 2 against lowely Forfar and Peterhead.

Stirling also won the game 1-0 back in December. I know sod all about their players or what injuries or suspensions but looking for advice.

Re: Scots 1-2-3 10th Feb

Game might be off Bigkeg but heres a brief view . Cowdenbeath i saw earlier in the season and was impressed , the easily beat their neighbours Raith , but IMO they have lost their two best players, both playmakers which made them a good attacking side, manager left as well, just begining to settle again as regards to the 1 0 game there was not much in it. Stirling have improved and are getting results and have signed a good striker in Snodgrass from Livingston, , no bet for me as it could be tight , betting about right, Stirling favs , Baxter may be out for Cowden , hope this helps.

Re: Scots 1-2-3 10th Feb

Cows game against Stirling is off!!! Pitch inspection planned at Alloa, Albion Rovers, and East Stirling tomororw.

Weather up Aberdeen way is quite decent although hopefully its not frosty tomororow as at the moment we had melting snow. Hopefully the peterhead game is on along with Albion Rovers :D

Re: Scots 1-2-3 10th Feb

D1 Clyde on the slide - relegation battle maybe? A lot of main men departed in the window - McHale, Malone, O'Donnell. The one they held on to thanks to the Bully Wee trust broke down in training this week and is going under the knife. If Livi are ever going to win a game again it won't be at home so looking good here. Managed to get them at 3.05 earlier in the week.

Also fancy Dundee so a wee punt on them and a sneeky lay on Gretna

D2 Raith to keep up the good run - 5/4 is too big. Lay on Alloa also.

D3 Hopefully Albion - Stenny is on. Stenny's price is through the roof so well behind them

Re: Scots 1-2-3 10th Feb

Morning folks. Ive been on hilday all week after my 5/1 and 9/2 winners last week. This week i think ive got pretty much the same chance and im looking forward to it. Things seem to be settling.

Speaking of settling i aint as i have to go to spar for more cigs. I have been looking into my coupon all week, more so than ive been as i've had more time to do it. I tried a new technique this week. I went into betfair sunday night i think it would have been and just went through the card and asked for the odds i would like for a little stake. I never even looked again at the bets but i was matched in every dept which is a bit of a worry. I need to make sure ive got money in the bank for todays coupon proper and these bets are by no means the finished article. It's just a starting place for me as a lot has happened this week in the lower leagues.

Stenhousemuir Back @ 3.75
Raith Back @ 2.4
Alloa Back @ 2
Montrose Back @ 6
Brechin Back @ 5.2
E Stirling Back @ 4.2
East Fife Back @ 2.6
Airdrie Utd Back @ 7

Thats a bummer East Fife being off as Dumbarton havent impressed me this year since dobbie left and took his goals with him. Stenhousemuir have struggled v Albion this season and without reading the reports Albion have gave Stenhousemuir a torrid time of it this season and i aint even sure if Stenhousemui have been worth their wins v them. There's talk amongst Stenhousemuir fans about the team playing better than they were but the fact that theyve been getting worse results since Money took over worried me a bit. I'll have to look into this one but i can't see me getting more involved unless i can get the odds on the over 2.5 that Mahatma mentions.

Raith look a good bet due to their form, their away record, ayr's home record and a couple of injuries and Raith's full squad. Raith havent had much luck aainst Ayr lately and i can see them sneaking it 1-0. I might even take the 1-1 as a bit of cover but it should be the unders im interested in there. Montrose i was always gonna back due to their good record v Berwick and the new manager syndrome i a bonus. If i can still get more of that 5/1 then i could be having more of it.

Alloa havent been all bad lately and hopefully with a couple back today and their recent positive contract agreements could make me still interested. Queens Park have been outplayed by East Stirling on more than one occasion this season so East stirling on their famous shitty pitch at 3's and above looks worth a wager to me. Queens Park will need something from Carroll as they aint really producing much imo at the mo.

Airdrie i took later in the week due to the price and their record v Gretna this season. I aint sure i will get more involved as the spaniard(??) that won them the last game v gretna is now playing for gretna.

Aye loads to get into. I just hope ive got the money to put where my mouth will be.
