Re: Scots 1-2-3 10th Feb

Right east Fife v Dumbarton. Ive been looking forward to this one.

How can i be interested in a team that hasnt won in their last 7 games? There must be a reason. I vowed never to back against East Fife at home this season before stenhousemuir went there and drew 1-1 Suprising to me they havent won a home game since and there isnt much you can take from the defeat by east stirling. I think they could have counted themselves a tad unfortunate at home to Berwick who i backed at 12/5 funnily enough (so much for the not backing against EF at home policy) 2 quick goals took it out of them after they had chances to be on easy street first half.

East Fife have had their injury probs so i better check up on them. I do think theyve signed a couple of good players in the transfer window and definatly have attacking options. They went 3 up at Montrose before colapsing and i tend to agree with the folks that say they shaded it at Hampden.

Dumbarton to me havent really impressed whilst getting results. there is more to come from them this season and theyve done ok. Actually i might be mad to consider East Fife. Let me read up on how things went last time. Dumbarton might be 'solid at the rock' oh i can't shake it...you build me up up-up-up-upupupup

Bah there's a lot to look at in this one. Maybe i don't like it.

It's all clouding over again. Ladbrokes 9/2 for East Fife ht/ft i would say for sure though so i'm gonna limit my involvement to that as i can't write off Dumbarton nor have total faith in East Fife. Its gonna be a tight contest and i'm looking at East fife going in a goal up and then coming out and maybe killing the game with another. 9/2 on something like that happening seems fair to me.

arbroath 2-1 elgin

Still can't get enthused by that one.

East Fife-Dumbarton. East Fife at home: p12 f17 a 9 Dumarton away p11 f12 a9. <2.5 @1.877 looks good enough for me.

East Sirling-Queens Park. under 2.75 @ 1.917.
East Stirling home: p9 f9 a16
QP away p11 f13 a12
I've never been able to remember thegreater than and less than >< things Mahatma. To me East Fife v Dumbarton looks a likely under. I can see it being a tight game. 3 goals are possible but i think you'll be sweating going into the last 10 minutes if you have taken the overs. I suppose there is a good chance of getting the 3rd in the last 10 minutes. If i could do spreadbetting on it i would be looking at buying goals in the last 10 minutes in that one. Just a feeling.

East Stirling 2-1 Queens pk
http://www.pieandbovril.com/forum/lo...hp/t46530.html

Ay i'll chance East Stirling today. Queens pk seem to have the same old players getting injured returning and then getting injured again. Bily stark says

We know it won't be easy today. Shire have beaten us twice to prove they are a good team and can be very dangerous. They have also been constantly improving. We need to start well and go at them, so we will try and pass the ball as much as possible.

"We'll be without Alan Trouten and Richard Sinclair, but Damiano Agostini is available again. No matter who comes in, I'm sure they will do a job."

I quite like Agostini. him and Carroll should cause East Fife probs today. The thing i do like though is that East Stirling have beaten QP twice already this season and sources say they won them games well. I think they have to be worth a little at the price. anything could happen though

The only injury worry I have this weekend is Dougie Ramsay, he took a bit of a clattering against Raith a week last Saturday, if we can bring him round then he will be in contention but he is our only real doubt. Last night (Tuesday) saw Robert Walker, Kenny Wright and Andy Gibson all return to training and they came through it in decent standing so I would expect them all to be in contention for a place in the squad. We are without Mark Crilly though due to suspension.”

Crilly suspended now there's a suprise. They just mentioned on the radio abou tStranraer not winning away since august. I still cant make out if moore is back. Im sure he returned last week. I better find out. Aye he was playing in their 2-0 home defeat bt raith last week. I'll leave it as im on Alloa at evens. No more for me.

Peterhead 2 up then draw 2 2 shocker had 17 goal attempts Forfar had two on target scored both and 4 off target , surprised with ST Johnstone loosing , think Dundee deserved victory. Loosing day for me

tell me about it - was well fucked off with Peterhead as i nearly had a perfect day and ended up making few pennies!!! Although good that QOS got a draw and i had them on the asian.

St Johnstone is a team i can't back away from home they have one of the worst away records in division 1. At home they are a different prospect but away they are shite plus i think the cup will not help them.
