Re: Coca-Cola League Two 26-27th Jan

At the first look I like Dons away. They are in form, last 10 league games 7-1-2, from last 5 away games they won 3, lost 2, but against strong sides (Swindon and Darlington).
Their attacking power is stronger now, as they signed Leon Knight from Swansea. Good addition to McLeod (20 goals), PLatt (11 goals) and Wilbraham (9 goals).
What can I say about their opponent Rochdale? Their actually form didn't impress me at all. Home record this season 3-4-7, lower in the table is only Torquay. There are some new faces in the team, but their topscorer Chris Dangall is out for six weeks.

Dons for me.

Re: Coca-Cola League Two 26-27th Jan

I'm going to have a shot at Torquay -0.25 @2.1 vs Grimsby and under 2.5 @1.813. BBC football said that Grimsby are without their captain, which I think will be an even bigger loss since they may need some leadership when travelling away to a relegation clash like this is. Martin Petersen (4 goals) is also injured for Grimsby. Torquay miss Jamie Ward (8 goals) which makes the <2.5 bet look even better but will hurt their chances of winning, but I think the odds for Torquay are good enough still. Ward might play but he has a hamstrong problem apparently

Dons for me.
On paper this is the best thing since sliced bread bosman but delving further under the scenes MK Dons have lost twice 1-0 of late against Swindon & Hartlepool but have won the rest except a 2-2 draw against Lincoln. Last time they played Rochdale they won 2-1 but scored 2 late goals - they also scored and o.g. for Rochdale to take the lead. They are 3rd in the league and have the 2nd best away record in the league.

Rochdale have won 3 of their last 15 and these where against lowly opponents Gimsby, Boston & Mansfield and they have drawn 3 Chester, Wrexham and against falttering Wycombe. At home 3 wins, 4 draws & 7 loses doesn't really make good reading either.

After digging through the stats this looks even better than sliced bread

AWAY WIN

Agree with the above, I'm on MK Dons -0.25 @2.1.

I think Darlington are without a few defenders so I've gone >2.5@2.11 vs Wrexham too.

Re: Coca-Cola League Two 26-27th Jan

Tough week so misery guts from me again.

Hope this info is of some use. Have to say I don't think I could ever back MK Dons again after the weekend. For a side who I tipped up to win the league on here at the start of season I'm not at all confident of my bet. Last week they were being out played by a 10 man Barnet side and really struggled to look in anyway convincing against a side that had 9 men for a half, indeed the 3-1 scoreline flattered the home side when you consider the dodgy penalty they got. Of course I hope they win because of the aforementioned bet but not one I can trust with any confidence. Kegman FYI McLeod started a 5/6 game ban last weekend.

Lots of tight games this weekend difficult to pick any value in anything at first glance. The 4/1 about Peterborough could be tempting as they have to pick up sooner or later with the talent at their disposal. New manager too, Fergie's lad, if he can lift them they'll give Lincoln a good game. The bet if I take it would defy all statistical sense but it wouldn't surprise me.

Ouch. Looks like Peterborough are going to be without 3 centre-backs for tomorrows game against Lincoln. No bet.

Chester no goals in 3 seem to have the same problem, plus they've sold leading striker Walters to Ipswich for a rather OTT £250k. Can I take a Mansfield side who couldn't get anything against Accy though. Hmmmmm.

Re: Coca-Cola League Two 26-27th Jan

Iwill skip this weekend games. Both league 1 and 2 seem quite tight at me this week. And agree with Frodo about the Dons. I wouldnt put much fate in them nowadays.
Also Paul Ince men could provide a major shock today, couldnt they?

GL whatever you take.

Frodo, next time I'll take your warning more seriously. I expected hard match, but

In fairness I don't think anyone saw a 5-0 coming Bosman.
