Re: CC League One & Johnstone's Paint Trophy: 23rd Jan
I don't know what to think about Swansea today. The Gills won all last 6 games (League and Cup) against Swansea ! But this is a must win for Swansea, when they want to reach play-offs. The next fixtures are: Cheltenham and Rotherham away, then Oldham at home, Doncaster away, Scunthorpe home. It won't be easy.
Swansea lost lately two strikers: Fallon (8 goals) to Plymouth and Knight (7 goals) to Dons. The replecemant should be signed today Abbott from Huddersfield, ready to play (but probably on the bench, topscorer Trundle and Akinfenwa should start). Hard match, I don't take Swansea at this odds. |

Re: CC League One & Johnstone's Paint Trophy: 23rd Jan
Not got long, I fancy Swansea to overcome Gillingham, they should have too much for them.
have put them in a double with Bristol City who are on a high, undefeated in 16, 3 defeats in 30. Best home record in the division and whatever team is put out it will be strong and the prospect of a bristol derby in the final will ensure 100% effort. Other bet is Shrewsbury vs Rovers UNDERS @ 1.78. Rovers are looking poor up front and failed to score on an awful pitch on Saturday. They have a picture of the Shrewbury pitch as it was this morning on the official site and it resembles a field. Not sure there is enough class on either side to produce more than 2 goals THM |

I'd like to try to help you with Gillingham, but I can't. I really can't. I'm fucked if I know what we're going to do next.
There's no real reason why we should've won at Swansea last season, but somehow we did, and I wouldn't rule out us doing it again this season. Then again, neither would I rule out Swansea giving us a 6-0 thrashing. That's really not very helpful, is it? ![]() Edit - By the way, we're without Ian Cox through suspension. By all accounts I've read, that seems to be a positive rather than a negative ![]() |
