Re: Coca-Cola League Two 19-20th Jan

Any opinion on Swindon away? 2.50 looks very nice. They are poor away (7-3-3),but Boston in financial troubles, probably has to sell some players:

Quote:
Evans held a meeting with chairman Jim Rodwell on Tuesday and is preparing to add to the recent sales of Anthony Elding to Stockport and Tim Ryan to Darlington which have seen the Pilgrims through a difficult financial period.

Evans said: "My understanding is that the talks with the possible new owners are progressing well but they need a little more time to complete the process they have started. In lieu of that, I have to respect the bigger picture, which of course is the future of Boston United.

"As a manager, it's very frustrating when you have to sell good players that you have found and helped develop. However, in all my time at Boston United, I have had to sell a player or two a season just to help the football club financially.

"I do wonder how good we would have been with the likes of Lee Beevers, Andy Kirk, David Noble, Julian Joachim, Anthony Elding and Tim Ryan added to what we already have, but then again without selling those players, the chairman tells me we would not be in business today."

MK Dons looks not too good with McLeoad out with his 5 match ban. Barnet barring team news, who have only dropped 3 points out of 18 since December surely looks good value at 4.70. Strongly believe the price wont last come game day. One to jot into your notebooks. GL

What's the problem with Darlington BGG? I had them on my shortlist to win with a quarter ball head start.

Under 2.5 for Mansfield-Walsall @1.75 seems good enough.

Shrewsbury v Rochdale
Shrewsbury boss Gary Peters will be without defender Sagi Burton when his side host Rochdale.

The former Peterborough man was forced out of last weekend's 1-1 draw with Lincoln after just 13 minutes with a calf strain and is set for a fortnight on the sidelines.

He was replaced by Danny Hall at Sincil Bank but the 23-year-old faces competition for the shirt from new signing Marc Tierney, who is available for selection after completing his free transfer from League One side Oldham.

Striker Derek Asamoah is hopeful of winning a place in Peters' squad after completing an hour of reserve football in midweek after a month out with ankle ligament damage.

On-loan Tranmere winger Mike Jones is pushing for his first start after coming off the bench to score on his debut last week while fellow loanee goalkeeper Scott Shearer starts the last league game of his current deal from Bristol Rovers.

Rochdale boss Keith Hill is set to name an unchanged line-up.

Hill suffered his first defeat since taking over permanently at Spotland in last weekend's 1-0 defeat to Bristol Rovers but is expected to keep faith with the XI that started the game.

Nathan Stanton returned to the side last time out after a groin strain and should continue alongside Rory McArdle at the heart of the defence.

Lee Crooks also made his return against the Pirates as a second-half substitute after a knee injury and could push for a start.

With the Gay Meadow pitch flooded by the River Severn this week the game is in jeopardy and a decision will be taken on Friday morning.

Re: Coca-Cola League Two 19-20th Jan

Wrexham strong at home, but 2.37 on Hartlepoolare very, very interesting.
The first thing - injuries:

from BBC
Quote:
Wrexham centre-back Steve Evans (broken nose) is a doubt, while Mike Williams (hamstring) definitely misses out.

Matt Crowell, Mark Jones, Juan Ugarte and Neil Roberts remain sidelined, although club captain Roberts will return to full training next week.

Hartlepool are sweating on the fitness of midfielder Willie Boland, who picked up a hamstring problem against MK Dons.

Michael Nelson is suspended, but fellow centre-back Ben Clark returns after serving his one-match ban.
The second - form:

Wrexham last five games without a win, Hartlepool unbeaten in last five games.

I'm not so confident about this one, need an expert opinion.

Re: Coca-Cola League Two 19-20th Jan

Will be brief because this coupon excites about as much as a potential 2006 Ashes DVD.
Hartlepool and Walsall look solid if unspectacular shouts but as some of you may know I'm very wary of backing against Wrexham at home against anyone. Mansfield with a few new faces in attack could also trouble Walsall though I do agree with Bromsgrove's assessment.

Be wary of how you interpret that Boston info Bosman, they signed a player who's name escapes me on loan today. Although Swindon have picked up some very impressive results against top sides away from home Boston will be a different kettle of fish all together, if the conditions are blustery this will really favour Boston's in your face hard working approach. Also the last paragraph of that too, of the players named only 2 have played for Boston this season of which one, Anthony Elding is regarded by more people than just me as being totally useless.

I agree with the Wrexham-Hartlepool game bosman, hartlepool -0.25 was one of my bets this week, along with <2.5 goals.

Frodo, thanks for info. I don't like this round at all. Small bets only on Notts County, and Hartlepool (but maybe not straigh away win, will find some safest option).
