Re: English Premiership 20-21st Jan
COME ON THE ARSENAL
I would rather have Fabregas over Scholes any day of the week, including a thursday!
Easily, im suprised that some disagree. Scholes does pretty much what Fabregas does, only a bit worse.

Re: English Premiership 20-21st Jan
I dont really think they are particularly similar, Scoles is far more a goal getting sort of attacking midfielder than Fabregas is. Theyre both quality thats all I know

Re: English Premiership 20-21st Jan
Got to agree Samm but if Arteta and Cahill back I could be swayed into Everton and basically cause Wigan are crap. lost last 6 .................
Last 2 games in the league between these team ended in draw but hopefully not today. away win for me.

Re: English Premiership 20-21st Jan
My post from earlier in the week....
Quote:
Ooh Everton are on tele again this Sunday Give us 2/1+ betfair or mansion so I can back us Id need 2/1 mind as I think Wigans awful stats of late are hard on them. Theyve lost 6 league games in a row sure, but 2 were against Chelsea, and others against Man Utd and Arsenal so no defeats you wouldnt expect to be perfectly honest. Still the home defeats to Blackburn and Sheff Utd in the other 2 games from those 6 give me hope here.
As Sports-Investor mentions though, gota wait for that team news. I want Arteta and Cahill both in the team then a 2/1 odds.
|
As you can see the 6 losses in a row for Wigan is a bit misleading really. 2.85 is the best I can see on us (and 2.00 DNB) I wouldnt put anyone off of those bets cos they are ok, but not quite enough value for me to part with my cash personally. Although Cahill and Arteta should both be playing unless something unexpected occurs. Ive seen worse wagers than Everton today but at the same time I just think its kind of even match really, no result suprises me.

Re: English Premiership 20-21st Jan
Today i reckon with gilberto and gallas out arsenal will ahve to be relatively attack minded as they ahvent got the defensive ammunition to fall back on, however i reckon rooney will socre two today like he did when every one wrote him off earlier in the season and he baggede a brace and i reckon the overs is a certainty where as my result today would be united to win 3-2 rooney to score first.

Scoring one goal a season these days doesnt make Scholes a goalscoring midfielder.

Career Total - 135 goals / 515 apps
Fabregas

Re: English Premiership 20-21st Jan
Eh? Since when did i say Fabregas was a goalscoring midfielder??
And I obv knew scholes had scored more than 1 this season, he scored 2 in 1 match against Newcastle for starters.

1/16 ratio compared to 1/5, its give or take really isnt it, not much in it.

So I put their respective goal records showing clearly that Scholes is a goalscoring midfielder. What was your point then?

Re: English Premiership 20-21st Jan
I think the most probable outcome today is the draw, i think it's more of a must not lose than a must win game for Utd, a draw will be enough to see them finish as Champions imo.
I'm thinking of an Asian bet on Utd or laying Arsenal.

Re: English Premiership 20-21st Jan
Not a game I'd ever get involved in, on the results market - though I did think about the overs on the goal line. Eventually decided to stay away, because a draw is good enough for United - so something like a 1-1 is quite likely. That said, Ferguson might really have them up for this - a win would take them 9 clear, and then they can concentrate on the CL. Over 2.25 was at 1.99 earlier, I've seen worse bets than that. That said, both these defenses are pretty good. So, I am personally avoiding this.
As for the results market? Very hard to predict - both sides will certainly be up for it. Man U do have a bit of extra experience, and Gillberto is a big miss. I would think most "logical" convictions will go out of the window after about 2 tackles. Anybodies game, I'd avoid the results market. If I had to pick someone - I'd pick Manchester United, 2-1.

I agree to mrmuseman .....Fabregas doesn't know how to score but he is a creator, anyway there is no poing saying who is better they are from differrent decade.... scholes belongs to the 90's and Fabegas is from the 20th century... both of you are right that they are both good midfielder!!! .GIF) I already said I am a ManU fan but doesn't mean that I do not appreciate the player from my rivars. The best outcome is a draw for both team ha ha ....

I like that Manchester 2-1 but still I think it will be a very hard fought match..... I will be sitting around and watch the match, cheering for ManU....

It seems that there are quite a few that disagree my friend christianu. I think that emotion comes before logic in your opinion. As I said in a previous post your opinion is as good as anyone's else but it sounds a bit biased.
