Re: The Scot's 1-2-3 Thread - 20th Jan

Dumbarton should win to me Edin but im always wary of getting involved in games involving stenhousemuir. they could come out and suprise and im not betting against them not to. McCulloch is a good signing and there wont be lack of fight in the stenhousmuir team with him and Henderson playing. Berwick i still like and ive already taken a little of montrose i think. Arbroath? Once bitted twice shy with me im afraid Edin. I might rake them ht/ft in small stakes just on the back of me not backing them and not being able to catch them if you know what i mean

Suppose even with the uncertainty of the games going a head its best to be prepared. Just gonna read down BBC team news. I wa just about to say i might look at Dundee if i can get evens and when i clicked on my bets i aw i had taken QOS at 4.90. Must be a draw. I aint getting involved no more.

Need news on Clyde but that 1.97 looks ok. Bah its gonna be a draw aint it? Maybe i should just lay Ross as an experiment to myself. Clyde's home record and record v Ross surely means a Ross win is highly unlikely? Revenge for the cup final defeat? Evens with bet365. I would take that if i could i suppose. Instead im laying Ross..actually i cant afford to lay teams. I hate all this single bet betfair nonsense too

***actually just noticed that Dene Shields will be making his debut for Ross today from Gretna. He was at Stirling Albion on loan this season and he was playing well for them and scoring goals. Could be worth one tomorrow. I suppose a 1-1 draw would be the call possibly.

I'd be interested in seeing if Ryan Baldacchino returns for Gretna as he's pretty creative on the wing and i think he makes a team tick at times. Livi would be my bet at the prices today though. I had a little of the 7.00 on them. think i'll leave it as that though.

Quote:
Hamilton Accies v Partick Thistle

Hamilton boss Billy Reid said his side face "a catalogue of injuries" ahead of the game with Partick Thistle.
"We have lost six points out of six against Partick, which is disappointing," said Reid.

Partick Thistle manager Dick Campbell has a near full-strength squad available for the game.

Craig Sives is Thistle's only absentee with a pelvic injury, while new signing Allan Russell is expected to play his second game for the club up front.

Accies have a poor record against Partick this season and, despite the shortage of personnel, Reid is determined to put that right.

He said: "We have lost six points out of six against Partick, which is disappointing. Every game in this league is difficult and this one will be no different but we are looking to make amends."
I'll have a look into who they're still missing lobster. i suppose Partick on the road have always to be considered I'd be after a slightly better price i think though. Its a mibbee.

Airdrie look ok for their visit to St J. Again theyre just too nice a price for a game that should be closer than the odds suggest.

still not interested. Horrible game. Raith could be hard to beat with the new young striker in from Rangers and One back in the team. Brechin aint no world beaters but are on a good run. Not for me. I suppose it could almost be a 'banker' draw if you were that way inclined.

i cant get excited over Peterhead either. I want to but i can't. I think i'll be just having an interest on some nice priced singles. oooo im excited about this news mind-

Quote:
Goalkeeper John Dodds, Sam Linton, Jason Dair, Gary Kelly and Paul Ritchie are all out of action, while Ryan Blackadder is suspended.
Blackadder is a big loss to East Fife and im away to back Berwick right now. 2,8 - 2.4 ive taken them (earlier the week too) i know it will be a big ask to ask a team to win its 7th game in a row (more if you inc cups) Lets see that scottish cup win again.

Im tired im going to bed. The 2-00 league defeat at East fife wasnt good but berwick have had some players back since then

Komp if I remember correctly Hamilton's recent game was called off due to some flu bugs affecting the team. Do you mean that they are not over with it?. If so than Patrick with a full side to choose from should be a good bet as their recent 2 games has been inspiring. At home against the leaders Gretna they managed to pull a draw and in the prior game winning away at Ross in the FA.
Hamilton lost their last game against Livingston(FA Cup) at home and prior lost to the 2nd from bottom team Aidire away. They have only lost once at home this season in the league and that was way back in September but on the other hand that record was achieved by today's opponent Patrick. So do you reckon Patrick to do the double today Komp? (Why not with the weakend squad with Hamilton.)
At my locals they are now quoted at 2.65 for the straight win and 1.74 on the Asian Handicap at +0.25.

Re: The Scot's 1-2-3 Thread - 20th Jan

Sorry Prinze i popped off for a wee refresher nap and it turned into a a sleep. Shit i was supposed to go to the killie v dundee utd game with my nephew. i better go phone him and let him down

I was just interested in Hamilton's ill thats all Prinze. As i say i think Partick were a bit lucky last time at Hamilton but if Hamilton still are missing a few then their away form and 'luck' could be worth looking at. Just reading more here

This thistle fan sums it all up for me quite nicely mind-

Quote:
theres still alot of solid players in that accies team and you always have a goal threat with offiong on the pitch (i think he will make it, reid likes to play these wee mind games). close match, with either a 1-1 draw or 2-1 jags
Im not getting involved. Let me go see where i am getting involved.

Peterhead forum seem to think Golabeck will play today
http://www.peterheadfc.co.uk/forum/v...f1a52b049265b6

I think i'll leave Peterhead as who knows what their gonna be like without Linn's goals
http://www.peterheadfc.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1607

If i get evens and above i might have a couple of quid on them

Re: The Scot's 1-2-3 Thread - 20th Jan

nah thats me. Ive put a fair amount on Berwick but i still wouldnt say they were worth more than a 5/10 bet. Looking back at what ive nibbled at all week im on-

Berwick @ 2.44 5pts
Airdrie @ 5.9 2.5pts
Livingston @ 7.0 2.5pts
Montrose @ 5.0 2pts
Clyde @ 1.83 2pts
Queen Of The South @ 4.90 2pts
Alloa/Ayr Under 2.5 2pts

Just tentative stuff really.

Well done Tomi , Thistle were not in my plans today and finished up backing them and they cost me plenty, that always is the story with them dont really rate them but Hamilton team news was bad , thought Komps nap was overs in the Albion Elgin game dont see it in his bets , Morton look home and dry now ive backed them on the handicap hope they dont ease up .
