Murphy injury setback for Whites
|
Francis Murphy has been ruled out of the ffith round tie
| Winger Francis Murphy has become the latest Lisburn Distillery player to be ruled out of Tuesday night's Irish Cup fifth round game away to Coleraine.
Murphy picked up a hamstring injury in training on Monday and will not be risked in the Showgrounds encounter.
His team-mates Darren Armour, Marty Verner and Ryan McCann are suspended.
Coleraine manager Marty Quinn has to do without Gordon Patton and John Neill but Noel Anderson and Stephen Carson return for the Bannsiders.
Distillery lost 2-1 away to Coleraine recently in the league but that does not worry manager Paul Kirk. "I felt we played quite well that day but just did not put the ball in the net," said Kirk. "With our two main strikers suspended, it opens the door for others. We have a good squad and I am going to Coleraine expecting to get a result."

I like the price on COLERAINE 2.38 at home and unbeaten in 7matches
2 week ago in the league they won 2-1 over tonights opponents. The Bannsiders have back
exRangers and Dundee Utd forward Stevie Carson tonight ,this is a plus as well as D'tillery
having 4 players unavailable.
The other games are a bit of a lottery, exception of course Linfield and Crusaders who can win in a canter i would think.
