This afternoon's Bank of Scotland Premierleague fixture against Motherwell has been postponed.
After a morning pitch inspection it was deemed that the playing surface was water-logged.

A new date for the fixture is as yet to be confirmed.

Scary stuff Kiko. There was another inspection at 2pm as it was drizzling all morning, but it again got the go ahead.

Half-time and out comes the ref and the 4th official to boot the ball about \9 after a huuuuuge patch of pissing torrential rain 5 mins from HT), talk a bit and wander back in. 2 mins later, all 4 officials come out again, boot the ball about to see if it bounces and then start to talk to the Police high honcho bloke at the side of the pitch before everyone disappears back inside.

10 mins delay past the normal half-time and still no players. . Everyone fearing the worse and awaiting the tannoy to call the game off (with Gers 2-0 up :loon ), when thankfully the players bomb out for the second half.
