Anyone got any Ross County Info???
Welcome To Barry
04 January 2007
Partick Thistle are delighted to announce the signing of defender Barry Smith, on loan from his Icelandic Club Valur FC. The 32 year old defender joins up and providing International Clearance is received in time then he will be eligible to play against Ross County in the Cup on Saturday.
I wouldnt get involvd with the Devornvale game as it two sides in poor form and its priced right also.
Elgin still managerless too although i could have some inside info on the next manager in the coming days.
I agree about Dundee United. Bar a couple of blips here and there they have been playing some great stuff under their new manager and they should have enough to pull through.
Bar that though i dont see any decent bets to be honest
Im still staying clear of Partick as to me their a bit of an enigma. A low scoring draw i predict in that still but i woul be intrerested in some late team news.
Clyde have lost their Captain Mchale to dundee. Looks as if he will still be playing on saturday. Usually i'd be interested in clyde v gretna as they play well v them. Expekt with their 11/13 looks a fair price but if your interested in backing Gretna then check out their reports ve Clyde. Lets ahvae a quick look at the clyde site as its nice
This afternoon, the Club completed the signing of 21 year old Bobby Linn from Peterhead F.C. The contract sees Linn at Cappielow until May 2009.
Manager Jim McInally said "I am delighted to have Bobby at the Club as he is a player I have watched with interest for some time. He will offer us something a wee bit different - he's shapr up front, and has a good eye for goal."
It is understood that three other clubs had expressed an interest in Linn, two of which are in the 1st Division.
a good signing and just what Morton need. Morton 1/4 for the league with BlueSq. they should walk it now. Stan James and Paddy Power 's 4/1 on them tomorrow could be big. I expect a tight tight game.
“I thought we started well the first 10 or 15 minutes. We were passing the ball about all right, then I don’t know what happened.”
What happened was that Dundee made two mistakes and virtually gifted their hosts the goals. Greg Strong failed to deal with lively Queens frontman Graham Weir and when he burst into the box he was pulled down by Ludovic Roy.
The keeper was booked and John O’Neil sent him the wrong way from the spot-kick
Ive taken dundee a few times to beat QOS. Always been close games and me and dundee have been a bit unlucky. I better read up on how theyve been playing. I think theyre on a good run.
McQuilken played for Gretna in last season's Scottish Cup final
Steve Tosh and Jamie McQuilken are poised to sign for Queen of the South, after being released by Gretna.
Doonhamers boss Ian McCall said: "Steve and Jamie have agreed terms with us, and subject to a financial settlement by Gretna, I expect them to sign."
McCall is making the double move for midfielder Tosh and defender McQuilken in an attempt to lift the Dumfries club off the bottom of Division One.
Both players worked under McCall when he was previously manager of Falkirk.
Meanwhile, McCall is also hoping to sign St Mirren goalkeeper Craig Hinchcliffe on a pre-contract agreement for next season.
It follows a failed attempt to extend the 34-year-old's loan spell.
Hinchliffe, who has been with St Mirren since 2003, was on the losing side just once in his five appearances for struggling Queens.
I was gonna take hearts -1.5 at 1.74 but i dunno as they aint really scoring as much as i would like. Ive taken them ht/ft at 1.67 as they aint often not winning at ht.
Bloody hell elgin have moved out to 2.77 on betfair. I better go have a mosey. They won their last 2 games with the caretaker manager. they were pretty poor v East Stirling up until ES had a player sent off. Milners i think posted highlights of the east stirling v Elgin game but ive just had a chance to watch it and the football is absolutely terrible
It was encouraging to see Nelson coming on in the win v montorse last time out. Elgin at home aye but away?....i dunno. Need to look more
Ive taken a wee bit of the 2.92 on Livi at betfair as i think thats a bit big. I might take more. No i wont..

Club therapist Avril Downs and secretary Scott Struthers have provided an update on the current condition of the injured Accies players, with the main news being that the injury sustained by top scorer Richard Offiong (left) is not as bad as was originally feared.
The word is that Offiong may be able to return to training in ten days or so, which means that if he progresses well he may be in with a chance of making the cup tie against Livingston on 6th January.
Other news is that teenage defender James Gibson took part in the warm up on Thursday morning.
Mark McLaughlin was seen by the Specialist again yesterday. His injury has not yet completely healed. Even if all goes well, he will not be able to return to training until the start of February.
Derek Fleming is continuing to increase his strength but is not yet able to return to training. If he continues to progress well that may start in ten days.
Paul McLeod is rated as a 50/50 for the Clyde game on Saturday.
Scott Tunbridge is doing well following his operation and is in his second week of rehab. The earliest possible return to training for Scott will be the end of January
that was dates Thursday, 28 December 2006 and Ofilong wasnt even on the bench v airdrie on Tuesday

Dundee United manager Craig Levein faces an anxious 48 hours after 10 of his players were hit by illness and injury.
The Tannadice side has been trying to prepare for Sunday's Scottish Cup tie against St Mirren, but Levein's plans have been thrown because of the virus which is sweeping the country.
Goalkeeper Derek Stillie, Garry Kenneth, Greg Cameron, Grant Smith, David Goodwillie, Craig Conway and Morgaro Gomis have all shown flu symptoms.
Added to the outbreak of flu, Levein is waiting to see whether leading scorer Noel Hunt will recover from the ankle problem which has kept him on the sidelines in recent weeks. Defender Christian Kalvenes has also joined the walking wounded after twisting his knee, but there may be better injury news about Steven Robb.
Partick Thistle recently had their match against St Johnstone postponed because of a similar selection crisis, but Levein is hopeful enough of his players will be well again in time for Sunday's cup tie.
He said: "We've got a problem. Unfortunately the nature of these things is you might feel better, but you don't appreciate how much it has taken out of your body. It really just is a case of waiting to see how things pan out, although having the extra day this week will certainly help."
Komp, that Dundee United vs St Mirren game has been postponed now due to the number of first team players struck down by that virus going about. SFA agreed to play it at a later date, namely the 16th of January.
That buggers up my Dundee/D.United double for this weekend then.
crap - my only bet of the weekend by the looks of it has been hit by flu and i've taken my eye off the ball and missed that info till now or at least i would have layed back for the price i got. mmm now 2.3 on betfair. Still Aberdeen had 6 or 7 out with the flu and got a 0-0 draw against Hibs.
