Re: Eng Premiership Relegation

Fulham seem to be less shit than others around them and every year manage to escape the drop. I look for a team with a crap coach, a lack of cohesion and lack of resources come the transfer window. Boro fit the bill but surely they have enough strength in depth to survive?

Blackburn on the other hand.... ooooh I am beating the Blackburn drum arent I! Savage, Tugay and Mark Hughes all getting relegated. Yippee. Just a shame Bellamy and Lucas Neil wont be with them.....

He's a little scumbag. A midget, no neck, angry little twat. I would have Diouf over him any day of the week...

Re: Eng Premiership Relegation

Well well well.

I knew West Ham were bad, but I never thought they were THAT bad. That is one hell of a spanking isnt it. 6-0 away to reading. They are now well and truly in the mire and have the worst goal difference in the Premiership. I thought Curbs would come in and turn things around actually, maybe you can't polish a turd.

Boro and Man City look like they could well ease away now after a couple of decent results. So that leaves Charlton, Watford and then probably one of Wigan/West Ham.

Predictions...?

I would like to see West Ham stay up actually. Curbs is a complete legend. Wigan for the chop.

Re: Eng Premiership Relegation

I still fancy Sheff U for the drop as Wigan/WestHam do posess larger squads and will probably buy in the transfer window, Sheff Utd will be looking to consolidate and hoping for the best then use the parachute cash next yr if need be after they have discdarded the players that cannot cut it at this level in the summer. For them to spend big now and then get relegated wouldent make financial sense whereas Wigan and West Ham need the Prem to pay the large wage bills they have.

Re: Eng Premiership Relegation

Villa have lost both their games since I mentioned them on here and face Chelsea tomorrow so you never know. Theyd be looking in poor shape if it werent for West Ham being so utterly shit. Still come down from 66/1 to 20/1 since I mentioned it though.

I said Boro or Sheff Utd when I first said anything on the thread (Villa was just a speculative suggestion), I think since that Boro have proved that theyll pick up too many home points so ill take back what I said about them.

I still think it might be Sheff Utd though, or West Ham, or Wigan, or Villa

Re: Eng Premiership Relegation

I nearly took Villa @ 66's but I cant see it in truth. Theres too many others that are shitter Dont see Wigan either tbh, in fact I dont think they'll be anywhere near by the crunch. Charlton, Watford & a glorious failure for Sheff Utd

Re: Eng Premiership Relegation

Latest Odds..
Barclays Premiership 2006/07 Book Closes 10 Feb 12:45
Watford 1.01 Bet
Charlton 1.20 Bet
West Ham 1.66 Bet
Sheff Utd 2.50 Bet
Wigan 3.25 Bet
Fulham 15.00 Bet
Man City 15.00 Bet
Middlesbrough 21.00 Bet
Blackburn 34.00 Bet
Aston Villa 34.00 Bet
Newcastle 34.00

Bet365

Still cannot see West Ham going down and at those odds could be worth a lay and tell the truth if i were not a City fan I'd be having a few bob on them for the drop @ that price as a couple of bad results will put them right amongst it and Pearce has done fcuk all to cover the inadequacies in the squad should that happen.

They say 40 points should be safe but if city get nothing against Porsmouth on Saturday we'll be lucky to pick up more than 10 points with the fixture list we have left.
