Some of my initial thoughts on this weekend fixtures

Friday
Llanelli v Carmarthen
A disastrous seven days has seen Llanelli exit the League Cup to Aberystwyth, lose their unbeaten League record at Bangor and, most disastrously of all, and lost to Porthmadog in the Quarter-Final FAW Premier Cup .This was after a great start to their season. They will be looking forward to getting back to their winning form.
Carmarthen had a great win in the Premier cup on Tuesday beating Bangor 3-1 ,after drawing 1-1 with Porthmadog last Saturday.
I usually follow the professional sides when they play on Fridays due to the opposition having had a working day before the match.
With Llanelli odds so low and their recent blip in form I will give this game a miss.

Port Talbot v Cwmbran
Port Talbot had a good start to the season but their recent form has deteriorated. They had a good home win in the Premier Cup on Tuesday beating Rhyl 2-1. Could this be the start of their revival?
Cwmbran have not won a league match since mid September .
I think Port Talbot are a better side than Cwmbran , so I'll be backing P.T. for a home win here
Port Talbot v Cwmbran 1@2.1 with bet365 ...2 pts

Re: Welsh Premier League 24th/25th/26th Nov

Saturday
Aberystwyth v Connah's Quay
5th versus 3rd with only two points separating them.
Aber have quite a few injury worries for this match
Connah's Quay are still surprising me.
Fancy a draw here , but will not be betting on this one

Newtown v T.N.S.
Bottom versus 2nd , so its got to be TNS , but those odds are terrible.

Porthmadog v Caersws
Regular followers will know that I have given up betting on my team Port this season , their league form has been poor but their form in the cup has been very good..
these are their recent games, drawn last three league games 1-1 and won in 3 different cup matches against good sides.
In the league game against Bangor , Port should have won and Bangor equalised in the final minutes.
28/10/06 Airbus away 1-1 league
04/11/06 Bangor home won 2-0 Welsh cup
07/11/06 TNS away won 2-1 League Cup
11/11/06 Bangor home 1-1 league
18/11/06 Carmarthen away 1-1 league
21/11/06 Llanelli home won 2-1 Premier Cup

Caersws another team that has drawn five matches this season .
The draw match is on the cards here BUT if Port can transform their cup form to the league they should overcome Caersws .

A Port win for me

Rhyl v Airbus
Rhyl should win this one but another match offering poor odds, give it a misss bettingwise.

Welshpool Town v Caernarfon
Welshpool at home are a difficult team to beat.
Caernarfon under new management have played a little better and had their first win at Newtown a couple of weeks ago , but were well beaten 4-1 at home to Haverfodwest last week.
Welshpool to win , but odds not very appealing for me

Haverfordwest v Newi Cefn Druids
Not a match to interest me as it looks very drawy

In summary my only bet of the weekend is
Port Talbot @2.1 ...2 pts
and I recommend Porthmadog @2.25 with expekt [ I'm not jinxing Port by betting on them ]

we've beaten TNS in the league cup, drawn TNS in the Welsh cup so its got to be TNS.
Wrexham would attract more fans though being the only league from up here in the north
If we got Swansea it would be a homecoming for Owain Tudur Jones.
Was brought up in Port before he moved to Bangor aged about 11.
