Re: C-C Championship 24-25th Nov
shorlist:
Wolves - no bet
barsnley v Ipswich - well first off this looks a lovely away shot at 6/4 . The horses trampled Norwich and are looking full of spunk at the mo. Barnsley sadly are'nt equipped at this level apart from their manager
Burnley v Brum . At 7/4 I'd be inclined to give Brum another go , they were ever so unlucky not to beat Wolves although their lack of firepower shown will have to improve as Burnley have a home reputation to defend. A tricky one this
Colchester v Southend , I'll have a look at H2H's for interest but cant see me taking the 1.8's which is realistically the only possible outcome that can be backed with logic
Derby v leicester , I fancy the home win here but will need convincing at skinny odds
Norwich should beat Hull at home but all's not well in Norfolk so maybe a watcher this
Plymouth at home at 1.90 will be popular
Preston I'm gonna be on , I would say they should be 1.6 for this! palace suck and preston are so powerful at home
QPR V Cov is interesting , I maybe on the home team here as Cov could be over achieving lately
Wednesday are doing ok and cardiff struggle to see teams off , 2.62 is terrible mind
Southampton have let me down constantly but I may give them one last go against freefalling Luton
Stoke v WBA is the big one , two in formish teams , be a good game this but a no better , maybe the home

Re: C-C Championship 24-25th Nov
Preston look the best home this week. Stoke for the under 2.5 goals.
What about Cardiff to bounce back at Sheff Wednesday, will Wednesday be with out the 2 sent off at Coventry, any Owls fans know the situation and whether the replacements will cope??

checked at footymad, midfielder Chris Brunt and Defender Wade Small will not play in the next game against Cardiff, both players have been present at Wednesdays 6 wins in the league this season, reckon they will be missed. big support for Cardiff, sold their allocation and have been given another 800 tickets.

Re: C-C Championship 24-25th Nov
Without examining form or anything these are my first thoughts.
Colchester should beat Southend. Colchester have made the transition well to the Championship and Southend continue to struggle - especially away from home.
Derby are on fire aren't they? Leicester haven't impressed me much this season.
Preston are a solid unit and Palace under Peter Taylor are really struggling.
Southampton are too short a price.

Well formwise Gett1n it looks a decent punt on Southend actually!
My initial thought was this:

But i had a look and with that defeat of Man Ure they are on a bit of an undefeated run , very creditable draws with Plymouth and preston albeit at home.
Colchester have lost their last 2 shipping 6 goals. These 2 are no strangers to playing eachother for sure , it's a dodgy one IMO

Could be interesting...
Leeds - 16 consecutive matches without draw
Coventry - 14 consecutive matches without draw

Re: C-C Championship 24-25th Nov
Have a look at Colchesters home form, 6 wins out of 8 id fancy them at home. Derby are also in great form and had a great away from home win last week at around the 7/4 mark. Preston are great at home and Birmingham are in great from at the minute and are a good price. Southampton have let me down also but Luton are in bad shape.

Re: C-C Championship 24-25th Nov
Welcome to TDP, Cinny .GIF) Colchester's home form certainly is good, it's actually 6 wins in a row, as they lost their first 2 at home, but are unbeaten since then. The main thing that's putting me off them though is the fact that this is a derby. Looking at the H2H too, Southend are 5-1-0 against Colchester at Layer Road (although only the last 3 of those have been this century, 2-1-0 in those three games), so Layer Road seems to be a bit of a lucky ground for them.

Re: C-C Championship 24-25th Nov
Ok - I'm only on one team in this division and to be honest I see some dangers in the selection.
Colchester to beat Southend @ 2.00 -0.5 Asian Handicap (Bet365).
The fact that I have discovered what I consider to be a little bit of value in the Asian Handicap market where Bet365 price the game at 1.90 for the straight home win and at 2.00 giving Southend a half goal start (same bet for all intents and purposes then) was the final deciding factor in my reasoning to go ahead with the bet.
On current form this bets looks a stick on certainty. Colchester have won their last 6 home games in the league and Southend haven't won away all season having a 0-2-6 record.
But two things worry me.
Garcia is still out for Colchester and he's no mean player having been called up to the Australia squad.
+
Southend did a convincing double over Colchester last season winning 3-1 and 0-3 respectively.
However I have to take current form over last seasons stats and for me 2.00 is just too big considering recent home vs away form respectively.
I would understand Keema going against me here though.

Re: C-C Championship 24-25th Nov
To back or not to back Plymouth ?
This is a view from Rivals Leeds site :
Argyle have only lost twice at Home Park this season, but have drawn rather too many games, as they have only won two of their nine home games. They are currently relying on a good away record to keep them in the top half of the table. Their defender Mat Doumbe remains the only injury doubt, with a knee problem, but Hasney Aljofree has recovered from a broken nose and shin injury and will start, while Bojan Djordjic looks likely to keep his place. I was going to go onto Plymouth's official site to see what positions Aljofree and Djordjic play in, but it's one of those infuriating websites that make you register before you can read even the simplest piece of information. And I can't be arsed to register, so unfortunately I can't tell you where they play.
Leeds could do with at least a point from this game, and given Plymouth's tendency to draw their home games, I'm going to stick my neck out and predict that we'll get one.

Thanks Keema - I never knew Daik had a site. I'll link it on my famous blog too.

Re: C-C Championship 24-25th Nov
Hmm, just seen Stoke have signed Patrick Berger. Is he still any good these days, if he's still got it then that could be a very useful signing. Quite like the look of the 2.5 on Stoke actually, in very good form, 3 straight wins, West Brom have lost their last 2 away, and have serious doubts over Gera for tomorrow.
Also go along with everyone else on Preston.
