I'm not sure they were over evens v Arsenal Gett1n , I didn't back them so unless I was having a week off then i rekon they may have been slight odds on.

If you include "in running" bets (as I do) then it's a guaranteed profit maker in my experience. They can sometimes be held by shite teams until well into the second half, only to end up coming good in the end.

Andy Johnson out injured for Everton, could be tough for them also missing Cahill.

Re: English Premiership 25-26th Nov

Would have to say I fancy Bolton +0.5 at home to Arsenal. I can't see any reasoning for siding with Arsenal in this one.

- they have taken 2 points from their last 4 games at the Reebok

- no Thierry Henry

- exactly the sort of side the Arsenal fancy dans don't like playing. Give them nice footballing Reading away every day of the week and they will pass them to death. Give them an in yer face Bolton and they can't handle it.

If Bolton are over performing then they have been doing so for the last 3 seasons. Taking away Chelsea and Man Utd and they have only lost twice to top half sides in the last 3 seasons at home.

Arsenal are a good side but losses at Man City and West Ham on the road already don't exacly augur well for a trip to Bolton. They have also been less than convincing at home this season. There can only be so many games where they "hammer" a team and end up dropping points for it to move from unlucky Arsenal to not quite good enough Arsenal.

And of Everton's 6 away goals, 4 have been scored by Cahill, 1 by Johnson and 1 own goal.

Arsenal wankers...what a nightmare...just in from work and caught all the scores...thank god reading did the business or I'd be suicidal as Falkirk did it again!!...take the lead and stil lose!

Good call on Bolton, crowie. A lesson learned for me.

And they keep up the record, with the help of another own goal.

Re: English Premiership 25-26th Nov

I understand that Chelsea are three points behind United but I can't help thinking that this is a match that both managers will be more bothered about avoiding defeat than actually winning.

It's hardly the end of the world for Chelsea if they come out of this away game still three points behind United, whereas a loss and a gap of six points would soon start media talk that the title race is about done and dusted (obviously rubbish but I'm sure that's what will happen).

Likewise, for United to still be three points ahead having got this fixture against their only rivals out of the way would do nicely for them.

I haven't seen a game that looks more like a nailed on draw for a long, long time.

Re: English Premiership 25-26th Nov

It does look drawey but what each team will want out of the game wont be a factor when they kick off I feel , they will both go for the win no matter what they say in the build up. Scholes is the key for me , if he is on song then United will win , if chelski mange to overwhelm him , like they can , then I fancy the blues. I'm on united for the reason I stated before but I'm more looking forward to it as a specatcle , should be a cracker.
United to win and Scholes to score first

Re: English Premiership 25-26th Nov

Goodluck with your bet Keema and i've said for most of the season a fit Scholes and Giggs are making all the difference this time around.

Saying that Cheslea are so strong in midfield i'll be very surprised if Scholes will be allowed to run the show and with Drogba and Ballack shaking off a the knocks they recieved midweek this will be a very tight game indeed.

just looking at the probable lineups and its hard not to be impressed by Chelseas strength in depth and i have a sneeky feeling they will turn over the Reds but its not a game i'll be betting on.

Wrong. Keema was talking about Man Utd at HOME. Read his post. Take your time to say you are wrong.

Re: English Premiership 25-26th Nov

I was wrong. I'd loved to have read the unedited version

As you've re-read it too, you'll no doubt notice that he doesn't mention backing them at home in the Premier League so your quote about how many times they are odds against in the PL isn't really relevant.

  • Was just thinking there, the best type of "fuck off " is the following; You`re playing astro, 5 a side, someone shouts "handball" and the "fuck off" response is fucking class.
