I bought it expecting all the transfer ins and outs and some decent info. All there are are very very bad jokes and usless info like.

Not quite as useless as it sounds though, ODM, to be fair. I've been to plenty of away grounds where I've got off the train and haven't had a bloody clue where to head (or even if it's within walking distance). At least this guide tells you that you can walk there from the station, and that it's signposted. Admittedly it could tell you how far it is, but as I say, not quite as useless as it sounds at first.

It is to me RC as the chances of me ever going to The Riverside are only slightly smaller than those of me ever believing in God.

I want decent info on how the teams are likely to have changed for the coming season compared to the last. If I wanted travel tips and lame jokes I'd get the RAC website up whilst reading some of Mydogdylan's posts

And if you wanted a preview that's likely to help you with your gambling, you'd probably be better off with a gambling paper. Or TDP

Agreed that it's unfunny and generally pretty useless (the Guardian preview, not TDP ), but then it's a general newspaper, not a specialist football one. I dare say there must be other papers/magazines/websites that have previews of more use from a team news point of view, and so they've obviously decided to go for a different approach. A poor one, admittedly, but a different one nonetheless.
