Wigan v QPR- With Joey Barton poised to make his debut i can see QPR defeating Wigan. There is a feel good feeling about the club at the moment with the new owners and the new money available. With the report of the likes of Sean Wright phillips and others about to join the club we may get that extra 10% out of each player. Add all this to a double defensive blow for Wigan who will be minus Steve Gohouri and Antolin Alcaraz 3pts for QPR looks probable.

Rotherham v Gillingham- Rotherham will welcome midfielder Jason Taylor and Defender Ryan Cresswell back into their ranks and look likely to continue their good start to the season. Gillingham on the other hand will be minus midfielder chris Whelpdale, strikers Steve Payne and Adam Birchill.

Port Vale v Southend- Southend will be tackling Port vale today minus ahost of players through injury. Centre back Mark Phillips and Striker Barry Corr will be missing. Sturrock has informed the press that six unnamed first choice players are battling knocks following their previous defeats to burton and crawley and that late decisions will be made.
