Re: English Championship Betting: 5th-7th Aug 2011
A couple of spammy, dodgy, questionnaire threads popped up from two different new members (I don't know if they've been deleted yet) and hotspur signed up for one (with the promise of an amazon voucher
) then that post in here just above about amazon blah blah... you can work out the rest as it seems hotspur didn't post it.I dunno man. I didn't even know they could do that so easily. It looks like hotspur's account has been hacked though. Or he's making it up for a laugh. Or he was drunk. |

Re: English Championship Betting: 5th-7th Aug 2011
Right as i was saying Southampton look a great bet at the odds they are at home, as some of you know my dad supports Leeds so i follow them and this season they will do nothing probably mid table. The fans are not in the best mood at all and want players bought in and the players they have been linked to and have gone for have signed for other sides. Apparently Bates want to sell up as well and thats why he's not spending money. So far off the top of my head they have lost
Kasper Schmeichel, Richard Naylor, Bradley Johnson, Shane Higgs, Neil Kilkenny,Lichaj Im sure i have missed many more but thats noot good getting rid of your better players, Also looks like Robert Snodgrass is off to Wigan as there putting in a bid for im which leaves them short! First match of season the two main strikers for this season Somma and Becchio are injured and out which leaves Paytner and McCormack up front who were absolute dog sh1te for Leeds last season. Midfield is a absolute joke at them moment with 5 players there which wont help, they need a few more in. Defence they have to many and need to sort it out get rid of them all i would say, it was the defence that screwed them last year and cost them promotion. On a better note there still trying to get Smith and Bowyer back and have signed Preston goalkeeper Lonergan. There still trying to sign players in but anyway Saints will win there first match so should be 2-0, 3-1 win so lump on |

Re: English Championship Betting: 5th-7th Aug 2011
Derby to beat the blues is a small bet for me, I've just taken 2/1 about the home win. It's fair to say i might of been better off waiting for closer the time for team news/new signings etc but i'm getting itchy fingers and the season cant come soon enough. Tiny tiny bet here only.
Still pondering on whether to take Hull @ 13/10 to beat Blackpool on the Friday night too but no bet as yet. |

It would certainly go some way towards explaining how you've tipped a couple of winners recently Mickey. |

No worries, hotspur. IF THAT EVEN IS YOUR NAME!!!! And thanks, ODM.
I'm pretty consistent really.Been reading a few bits and bobs about Birmingham and things sound even more grim than I thought. The possibility of even more players heading out the door too.... and they just look weaker and weaker. Derby probably suck but Brum potentially suck more. Interesting if Snodgrass leaves, Leeds, yorkie. He's just about their main man in recent seasons and a player who I really like a lot. Not sure it would be fair to say McCormack had been shit though as I don't think he featured very much at all. I watched the game where he scored his first goal and I thought he was excellent. Always working hard, and a better footballer than most of his team mates in my opinion. Bit of confidence is what the boy needs. |

Laddies have Derby at 11/8 so the 2/1 looks value. I'm in a syndicate at work and my last bet was Birmingham to win the Championship this year...... less than 24 hours after this bet was placed McLeish walks out the door. I kid you not. I'm a fecking Jonah |
