My bets I made before the semi finals 1st legs are still going for me so I doubt I will be having anymore..

I backed swansea & reading to make the final (won)
I backed h'field and pboro to make the final (won)
I backed torquay and accrington to make the final (lost)

picked 5 of the 6 finalists..

I did swansea to be promoted, h'field to be promoted & torquay to be promoted so seeing how all 3 still have a gr8 chance no nned for any more bets, just sit back and enjoy the games

i won't argue with any of those calls BD after watching all the playoffs allthough theres not a lot between any of these match ups, I usually look for a bit of momentum going into the playoffs as the team on a roll usually does well like what happened with Blackpool last year but there's nothing between Reading and Swansea on that score.

In the league one playoffs Huddersfield went rolling into them on a high and their performance against Bournemouth in the semi's was good albeit going to penalties in a game they should have tied up over 90 mins, they do create lots of chances though which will always put them in with a shout.
Peterborough were much harder to judge as MK Dons looked a poor side but still managed to cause them trouble, Peterbrough like Huddersfiield do like to play football though which should make this a good game , I'll stick with Hudderfield as like i said their form coming into these playoffs was good but I wouldn't be suprised to see it going to extra time, Huddersfield to be promoted @ around 1.9's might be the way to go imo.

I Can't put a razorblade between the League two finallists as it looks so finally balanced, if anything I was impressed with the way Stevenage kept thier cool and concentrated on the task in hand when Accrington were trying to rattle them, being able to play under pressure could help them a lot when it comes to a final and they would get the nod from me in this game, plus the fact Torquay failed to win in 5 of their last games coming into the playoffs but i wouldn't like to put any money on it as Torquay looked pretty composed in their Semis, especially the 2nd leg away to shrewsbury where they should have actually increased their advantage.

i'm not convinced that any of these play-offs will be decided in normal time so i'm going for 'to be promoted' market. torquay have the edge in the head to heads this season - torquay to be promoted 1.91 @ whill

Todays game wasn't that bad but the standard of football was pretty dire, Stevenage won but Torquay will be kicking themselves tonight as they were the better team but never took the bull by the horns and gave it a good shot, they played within themselves even when they were behind which i couldn't understand.

Stevenage once they were in front just did what they had to do and that was defend against a better team but as Torquay never came out of their shell it was quite an easy victory in the end and if Stevenage had an half decent striker they could have won by more.

Congratulations to Stevenage but they need to invest in a decent striker or two if they want to stay in Div 1 otherwise they will drop straight back down.
