Re: English Premier League 22nd May
Good luck Yorkie as you'll never see a price like that again against Blackpool at home, Its just a bit too iffy for my liking as Blackpool seem to like these do or die games so I'll be leaving well alone.
Thats a cracking price for Fulham though and goes straight onto my AH shortlist as i don't see a goal between them, most of these games need a lot of thought this weekend as i can see a lot of them ending up a draw. |

Re: English Premier League 22nd May
I'll just copy and paste this from tonights Premiership thread
I don't know if you realise slick but I thing that puts Tevez level with Berbatov for top scorer. If that's right, it has to be bad news for Blackpool fans because Berba will surely start and be ready for action on Saturday. Tevez finishing top scorer makes Fergy look a cunt - premiership title or not - and he won't be wanting that. I did think Blackpool might scrape a draw but that's swayed me towards a united win. Of course that won't necessarily put them down but that's the way I see it. United and City double. |

Re: English Premier League 22nd May
The way City and Bolton are playing respectively I can't argue with that allthough i do get these slight niggles of doubt everytime City play away from home, i think its become ingrained in me.
At he moment City are brimming with confidence and on fire, that a pretty decent price for the outright and I'll be taking some of that. As i mentioned in the other thread too I don't think Berbatov alone has it him him to change a match like Tevez does but the way Blackpool play it doesn't matter who Fergie puts out they will create chances, everybody does against Blackpool, their thought of play is 'well if you score' we'll just have to score one more than you. So if Berbatov does play I can see him getting chances but i don't see his presence making that much difference unless he rolls his socks up and decides to get stuck into Blacpools midfield which i can't see him doing, thats not to say he won't score though as i wouldn't be suprised to see him bag a hatrick against Blackpool playing his usual game if he's the main striker. |

Re: English Premier League 22nd May
I agree also on the price of Fulham jesus im going to have to get my bets in for tonight as prices will drop, i also think Wolves at 2.10 is a big price as they also need a win, Everton @ 3.25 maybe as well?

Re: English Premier League 22nd May
I think the Wolves v Blackburn game has DRAW written all over it. If they draw both will have 41 points and for (Wolves and Blackburn) to go down that would mean that 2 out of 3 (Man U v Blackpool, Spurs v Birmingham, Stoke v Wigan). I know that a win for either Wolves or Blackburn will see them safe so they could play it like a cup final worth loads of dosh.
The longer the game is scoreless then news will filter in from other stadiums and I can see this being 0-0 at HT and then if results are going for them then play keep ball but if results are going against them them - game on for the 2nd half. |

Re: English Premier League 22nd May
Fulhams price has no value when you consider that havent beaten a top 7 side in the league either home or away,Arsenal have won the most games away from home in the premiership,as well as being the top scorers away from home,ok form wise Arsenal have been in and out, form isnt permanant tho.Be glad to see Arsenals price drift towards Even,as them odds will look better value than the odds on offer on Fulham.

Re: English Premier League 22nd May
I can almost guarantee berbatov will start on sunday.. sir alex has pretty much already said so.
Wazza will be rested.. I dont think the side will be too far away from the one that demoolished schalke 4-1 at home.. gibson, anderson, fabio, kuzchak will play and wouldnt be surprised to see owen start aswell.. i think these 9 will start... kuzchak fabio evans oshea smalling gibson anderson berbatov owen |

Re: English Premier League 22nd May
Berbatovs going for the golden boot,so fergie should play him, especially since its between him and the enemy Tevez.

Re: English Premier League 22nd May
I wont be having a punt here Swoop' but i agree with the Villa call, or a lay of Liverpool at least.
I'm not sure we need the europa league competition next year. Not disrespecting it or anything but i read somewhere (before the Spurs game) that if we are to challenge for a top 4 spot next season then playing x amount of europa league games on Thursdays and then having to play our premier league games on a Sunday wont help our cause at all. I think i also read somewhere, that Levy had demanded that Spurs go all out for the Europa league after a top 4 finish had become impossible. Anyway i'm not confident that we will field the strongest of teams and i can see the Villa finishing the season with two good wins. My weekend banker, i'm going for the Geordies to do West Brom @ Evs (general) with a small punt on a 3-0 scoreline @ around 25's (exchanges) too. Looking at the fixtures it not impossible for Newcastle to jump 4 places and finish in 8th (including leapfrogging Albion), although i'm sure they'd be very happy with their season finishing in the top 10 should other results not go their way. Of those in the relegation battle i think Blackpool will lose and all the others will draw. |
