Re: English Pemier League 9-10th Feb

Fulham are usually solid at home, (7 wins from 12 at home in the league, and have faced the top 7 bar man city) They are nicely priced 4/5 at home to Burnley. This is the same price Bolton were when they faced Burnley 2 weeks ago, when they were in the bottom 3.

Fulham have kept clean sheets in 4 of their last 5 home league games, while Burnley haven't scored in their last 5 away league games. Burnley have scored 8, and conceded 35 away from home.

Zamora is back for Fulham after missing last weekends game.

Unders is just under 1.8 on betfair which may also be worth a flutter. Fulham keeping it tight, but missing firepower from the likes of Johnson & Dempsey, while Burnley have been goals shy away from home.

Re: English Pemier League 9-10th Feb

I'd go along with Fulham, it was the first to catch my eye actually, solid home form against one of the worst travellers in the Premiership, Fulham have been slipping points since christmas due to having what seems like plenty of away games and home games against decent sides but they will be looking to get their season back on track with a convincing win here and i see no reason whay they won't.

I might have a dabble on Wigan too as its a must win game for them to steer clear of that bottom three, they have hit a sticky patch and will be relying to beat the likes of Stoke at home to get over it, Wigan can play some nice stuff and if they don't try and go toe to toe with Stoke I can see them getting a result, we might see a first start for Victor Moses too, so that should be interesting to see how he fairs.

Man City look nailed on as the odds suggest, we have been playing a bit ropey lately but hopefully the message is beginning to get home as they must have got a right bollocking over the weekend, this is probably the worst Bolton side I've seen for years, if City don't beat them at home then there will be big questions asked, I see Gary Cahill's out too which is a bonus as he's been one of the few shining lights for the trotters this year, still while they have kevin Davies up front they will always pose a theat as he's a bleedin nuisance and will run Boyata ragged if Mancini decides to stick with him in defence, if that happens then don't be suprised to see Davies score.
Hopefully though we'll have a more experienced defender alongside Tourre like Kompany (if fit), Richards or Lescott to bring a bit of stability back, Can't see us not getting the win here, I'll go for City to ease it 3-1.

I like the look of Man U too now they are back on form again, from memory they always seem to do well at Villa Park and will be looking to get the threee points back that Villa nicked off them in December.

Birmingham are my outside pick of these fixtures, they have shown a lot of fight this last couple of months both home and away and could easily catch West Ham who just look devoid of confidence and over thier shoulder at relegation, Birmingham won't get a better chance to beat the Hammers than at the moment.

Re: English Premier League 9-10th Feb

Chelsea played well enough yesterday but to be fair Arsenal where shit. Odds on away to Everton - nah not for me. They where poor away at Hull last week and where lucky to get a point albeit Hull turned over Man City to show they've got a bit of balls.

SInce I've mentioned Hull - surely they must have a sniff away to Blackburn ? commentators said Blackburn where woeful at weekend and with Hulls last 2 results ? - biggish odds

I agree Slick that long ball Villa will struggle against Man U but again at odds on - not so sure they will have my candy riding on them.

Arsenal have to bounce back - dont they ? but Liverpool are on a bit of form so ......... overs maybe

Birmingham are doing very well and I may throw them in but DNB may be the way to go.

Aston Villa at home against Man U tonight. With Rooney in the form of his life, Man U are clear favourites to win here. Best odds is 1.91 offered by 888sport.  Click here to bet Man U at 1.91 with 888sport and get your £50 sign up bonus.

Re: English Premier League 9-10th Feb

I don't like backing Spurs at the best of times and odds on midweek away to Wolves..... for fuck sake man what am i thinking about ???

I really really enjoyed their game away to Leeds in the cup last week and thought they where a team of talented individuals and where trying to play as an outfit...... game against Villa - although it was a poor game I got the same message - Spurs seem to be starting to click.

Guy who plays on right wing (forgot name and cant be arsed) seems to have got back on track due to Lennons injury, Huddlestone is doing ok and can strike a ball, Crouch - i'd have him in any team and Defoe gets loads of chances - misses the easy ones but takes difficult ones.

Am I mad fancying them ?

Re: English Premier League 9-10th Feb

Aye Spurs are like Man City on the road, I woulden't touch them with a bargepole even against lowly Wolves, Wolves do create chances but their problem seems to be sticking the ball in the back of the net. See I'm getting tempted by Spurs now just like i do with City as both have cracking strikers but both usually play shite on their travels.

As for the Arsenal game its just to close to call for me, twice now they have played half decent against Man U and Chelsea but keep getting caught by sucker punches, Should be a lot close game against Liverpool as they don't play on the counter to the extent of Man U and Chelsea but are playing with all hands to the pump at the moment which should suit a footballing side like Arsenal who can knock it around while Liverpool run themselves into the ground, I actually think Arsenal will win this but wouldent be suprised to see a draw hence the reason I'll be leaving well alone.

Re: English Premier League 9-10th Feb

Man City vs Bolton

Besides outstanding Chelsea Manchester City is the only unbeaten hometeam in PL (8-3-0). Bolton on the other hand is 15th in Away table with a record of 2-2-6. If Manchester City wants to stay in touch with the first four a win against maybe relegation team at home is a must.

Fulham vs Burnley

Fulham not being a bad home side at all with a 7-2-3 record faces worst away side Burnley with an away record of 0-1-11. If Burnley avoids relegation its because of their home record - away they'll get nothing in Fulham this week in my opinion.

Re: English Premier League 9-10th Feb

remember hull beating fulham around this time last season at craven cottage?
well i reckon burnley could notch their first away win tonight at juicy odds as fulham are a little depleted and hardly firing on all cylinders, call me a twat but its a gut feeling i have so burnley for a few bob at 9-2

Re: English Premier League 9-10th Feb

Watching the City game, first half Adam Johnson's been bloody awesome! ..and hes left footed, whats his odds for getting in the WC squad i wonder...Viera on the other hand looks like hes wearing boots constructed from reinforced concrete..

To quote the commentator 'I dont think Vieras passed the ball forward once this half, the games just passed him by..' about 2 minutes later he passes it 30 yards to set up the second ..it was his first game back to be fair but he was noticably off the pace, sure he will improve with a few games under his belt..

Re: English Premier League 9-10th Feb

Never mind Bromsgrove, we can't win them all.

I thought Vierra played allright in parts, was plain to see he needs games under his belt but height in midfield has been something we have been missing all season, was strange to see City actually win a header in midfield and keep possession for once.
City are still playing too defensively for my liking, at times last night Vierra and De Jong were falling over each other, theres no need to play them both against Teams like Bolton, ok a win is a win but it was a patchy performance and had that have been Arsenal or Spurs last night we would have struggled.

Jack wiltshire's starting to get on my tits too, its not the first time i've seen the midget strutting around like 10 men getting in peoples faces over incidents that have fcuk all to do with him, the sooner he gets a clout the better.
