Leeds being moved in. Nowich in and Chartlon out. MK Dons as low as 8/1 with ladbrokes but 12/1 Bet365. Ladbrokes short on Brighton. 9/1 Whats going on there? 16/1 in places.

Yes mate, Digger and Trigger at Tranmere. I think people are a little harsh when it comes to Digger - he had a bad 6 months in his first ever managerial job when he was chucked in at the deep end at Celtic. Fuck me, would there be a manager left in the game if we cut them all adrift after they had a bad start to their career?

Anyway, I'm sure they will get some decent youth players from LFC this season and I reckon they will be looking at the play offs.

I quote like the look of Southampton. They have a potential consortium headed by Le Tiss looking to purchase this week, the players are already back from pre season and will be fitter than any come 8 weeks time. Plus the ones that are left are the ones that actually want to be there.

6.8 on betfair for promotion or 29's to win the league out right.

Ah, that will be why they're not fancied then. That and the fact that they might not exist by this time next week.

Re: CC League One Ante Post 09/10

Brighton are run by some guy who runs a poker company now I think and they have plenty of cash..they have signed two really good players from crisis club stockport (odds on them to get relegated? wont even be able to field a team if they carry on as they are!) and mk dons leading scorer from last season..hence their price being a bit lower than it should be..expect it to drop a bit more before the season starts too as they are bound to sign a few more players before then, dont expect them to go up but will be aiming for the play-offs this season I reckon..they are a championship club in terms of crowd figures and could easily attract 15,000 in that league..bear in mind that up north they are tons of clubs to support but down here in the south east clubs are few and far between unless you go to south london..its either brighton, gills or charlton..or manu apparently! how I laugh when I see those twats cheering them on in a pub with their replica shirts! lol..anyway, bit off point but expect brighton to do pretty well this year..

Re: CC League One Ante Post 09/10

Odds not out for relegation yet but oldham have lost a few players and stockport as I said are right in the shite..both for financial reasons..expect them to struggle this year..southampton will be alright, dont expect them to struggle to be honest -10 points is no big thing and can be overcome pretty quick le tiss will see them alright..I would give le tiss an mbe or something if it were up to me, dedication he has shown to southampton over the years is superb and should be recognised, be a shame if were to gone from soccer sat now hes going to be involved with them properly, he was one of the best ones on the panel..

Re: CC League One Ante Post 09/10

Expect Exeter to struggle too two promotions in two years is too much for a club that size and will go as hereford did last year I think..lost one of their better players to derby this week too..swindon are going to lose cox as well it appears which will be a huge loss for them celtic look like their going to make a bid (bidding for league one players!? Doesnt look good for them!) might have a nibble on us to beat them on the first game of the season at 2.3..all this is a bit of a waste of time at the minute anyhow as their is so long to go before the season starts..im going to predict the league table before the season starts just to see how wrong I am at the end! Will be a couple of surprise teams, always are..

Re: CC League One Ante Post 09/10

All starting to look a bit ropey at southampton, the proposed buyers with le tiss on board, pinnacle, have pulled out and players are jumping ship Surman left for Wolves today and McGoldrick left for Forest the other day..no-one seems to be particuarly optimistic a buyer can be found, but I cant see them going out of business..reasonably big support base and a very nice stadium, clubs have surely been in more shite than them and survived..

Re: CC League One Ante Post 09/10

I'm thinking Swindon at 14/1 for promotion is tempting. They've made three good signings - O'Brien, Douglas and Cuthbert. They have a good manager in Danny Wilson and they played some good stuff at times last season. The only problem is the sale of their star player Simon Cox. Hopefully Wilson will be given some of that money to strenghten the forward line.

They've a right chance now, fingers crossed.
