Re: 13th/14th Jan: English FA Cup

Ah ive been waiting for this one. Shedff Utd at orient. this is all based on me liking ANYONE at Orient and liking Sheff utd in the cup and midweek. 4/5 in bet365 is almost a bet i dont have to think about. Should i be giving the price a bit more consideration? william Hill's 8/11 looks about right to me. Sportingbet go the bets price with 17/20.

whadayareckon?

Re: 13th/14th Jan: English FA Cup

Best price i can get on Burnley is now 6/5 , i`ll have that , QPR are the draw specialists at first glance , Drawn five of six, including the last four..
I wish i never looked now , seems Burnley are in a bit of a slump at the minute ...

Quote:
Lost the last two, and not won five; drawn one and lost four since a 1-2 away victory over Bristol City in the Championship.
Team news...

Quote:
Michael Duff is absent for Burnley as he serves a one-match ban, so Clarke Carlisle could face his former club.
Remco van der Schaaf is struggling with a kidney complaint and is still out, but Wade Elliott is available as his ban does not begin until the weekend.
Lee Cook is doubtful for QPR because of a virus, while Wayne Routledge was not registered in time to be eligible. Patrick Agyemang had surgery at the weekend and is sidelined along with Akos Buzsaky and Rowan Vine.

Anyone for the Southend draw @ 5/1 ?
Infact , now 11/2 with Skybet..

Chelsea , world class , not on yesterdays performnace , playing like a team full of strangers at the minute...
Talk me out of it ....

Re: 13th/14th Jan: English FA Cup

Just found out on bbc sport that Doncaster havnt played a game since the 28th of December

BBC SPORT | Football | FA Cup | Cheltenham v Doncaster

They must be really rusty ( or really fresh) and a tuff trip to Cheltenham wont help.

Re: 13th/14th Jan: English FA Cup

neither of the teams have played since 28th December !!

Quote:
CHELTENHAM TOWN

Current form

Not played since the 3-6 home defeat by Peterborough on 28 December, which ended a six-game undefeated sequence in all competitions.
Quote:
DONCASTER ROVERS

Current form

Also not been able to play since 28 December.

Won the last two, after three defeats on the spin.

There were only two victories in the 20 Championship outings prior to the pair in Christmas week.
Cheltenham possibility for me here

Re: 13th/14th Jan: English FA Cup

Crewe - Milwall - Milwall with several missings and boring, despite trying and pushing, but in my opinion getting a good reputation recently mainly thanks for beating mid-table teams in pre-xmas period... I think Crewe can hold them till HT at least.
Pick 1: Time of 1st goal After 27th Minute, offered at 2 by B365
Pick 2: HT with most goals (2nd), offered at 2 by B365

The following matches I see as 1HT warming up and goals finding net later in the match...
Birmingham - Wolves, Time of 1st goal After 27th Minute, offered at 2 by B365
Bristol City - Portsmouth, HT draw offered at 2.10 by B365
Peterborough - WBA, Time of 1st goal After 27th Minute, offered at 2 by B365
Newscastle - Hull, HT draw offered at 2.10 by B365

How can be Leicester offered at 4+? Does anyone know the reason? I can't see it, honestly. They were at least an equal opponent to Crystal Palace and AH +0.5 offered at 2 for Leicester wins for X2 result, which is very probable...
Pick 1: Leicester +0.5AH offered at 2 by B365

James Beattie has just signed for Stoke from Sheff United. I doubt now if they have the firepower to put Orient away.

Re: 13th/14th Jan: English FA Cup

I heard that on the radio last night Bert. It did...bah i forget what i was gonna say. a fella turned up at my door asking me to fix his telly. I went round stoned and his wife was sitting htere demanding that he fix it. She said he had been wanking to...bah anyhow.i fixed it.

Truth be told Bert im so low on cash and fun that im just on them on a hunch. I aint too concerned about it. it would be nice to win. im waiting for the weekend as i get some money and i have no bills to pay (not that i would)

good luck whatever your all on tonight folks

Re: 13th/14th Jan: English FA Cup

Having a double on these at 7.66 (bet365)..

Bound to be at least a couple of upsets in this lot, watched Bristol City a few times this season and I think they could beat a Portsmouth side lacking bodies in midfield and certainly low on confidence..if it were not for Crouch playing I would be even more confident but still under the floodlights with a sell out crowd think that will give them the edge...Bristol City 13/8 (bet365)

Peterborough have in Mackail-Smith and McLean two exciting strikers that would trouble most championship defences and after drawing away they will really fancy their chances in the replay, expect there will be a sold out ground and am half tempted to put them to win but West Brom do play nice football and they are not that bad a side despite their league position, there is the danger of them playing a much weakened side with an eye on prem survival but dont think Mowbray will want to risk the possible loss of morale that a cup exit to a lower league side would bring, think it will go the way of the first game and be a draw at the end of 90mins...draw 23/10 (bet365)

Re: 13th/14th Jan: English FA Cup

Cheltenham - Doncaster

This game should played 3 of january. In my eyes away team is a clear favourite in this game.

Cheltenham - are unable to include for this duo of new players. Chris Westwood and Lewis Montrose will not be available for this game. Captain John Finnigan and defender Shane Duff returned to training but are not expected to start this game.
Josh Low is cup-tied having featured earlier in the competition for Forest Green, David Bird has fully recovered from a knee injury, but Gavin Caines has a swollen knee.
Centre-back Drissa Diallo and striker Damian Spencer both remain sidelined - due to knee problems.
Ashley Vincent is suspended for this game.
Not played since the 3-6 home defeat by Peterborough on 28 December.

Doncaster - they have only two players out for this game - defender Sean McDaid and striker James Hayter long-term absentees. Doncaster also have not played since 28 December - so they both teams could be fresh for this game. I hope that doncaster donīt loose their shape from two last championship games and win this game.

It is the fisrst game between this clubs in FA cup.

Prediction: asian bet - 0.5 - stake 3/10 - price 2.06 at Betfair

yes I was watching SkySports, he said that they lost 11 key players, but stated that whatever side he'll put out they have every chance to win it.
Right, wasn't expecting him to say: yes, we lost 11 key players for tonight, and we will let Hull win with at least 2 goals difference.....
I have Hull @ 3,70 and will take it if rain stops falling, to lazy to get umbrella
unless someone talks me out of it...
hmmmmm, Hull winning with 2 goals @ 7,10
