Re: 30th Aug: N Ireland Premier League

Ballymena Utd v Dungannon Swifts

Ryan Mullan is an injury concern for Dungannon Swifts
Swifts boss Harry Fay has doubts over three players for the JJB Sports Premiership game at the Showgrounds.

Full-back Ryan Mullan (hamstring), midfielder Jamie Tomelty (groin) and striker Mark McAllister (ankle) are struggling to be available.

McAllister aggravated an ankle problem in Tuesday night's 1-1 draw with Linfield at Stangmore Park.

United have forward Kevin Kelbie back after he missed the 2-2 draw with Newry due to work commitments.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Bangor v Crusaders

Stephen McBride is battling to be fit for the trip to Bangor
Jim McMenamin is the only concern for leaders Bangor as the top two in the JJB Sports Premeirship clash at Clandeboye Park on Saturday.

McMenamin has the the flu while fellow central defender Stephen McBride (back) is a doubt for the Crues.

The Seasiders are chasing a third straight win while Crusaders are unbeaten after three games.

"I'm delighted with the attitude of the players and there's a good team spirit here," said Bangor boss Marty Quinn.

"We showed a lot of bottle to come back from 2-0 down to win our opener against Institute and followed that up on Tuesday at Glenavon.

"It's a big bonus to have a quality bench - I was able to bring on Andy Morrow, Darren Lockhart and Ryan Tumelty at Mourneview Park."

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Coleraine v Glenavon

Jody Tolan will miss the league game against Glenavon
Coleraine are without the suspended Jody Tolan for Saturday's JJB Sports Premiership match at the Showgrounds.

The former Cliftonville striker is banned after being sent-off in Tuesday night's 2-1 defeat at Institute.

Lurgan Blues boss Stephen McBride remains optimistic despite Glenavon lying bottom and without a point after their opening two games.

"The effort is there and we are not far off - we just need the rub of the green which has deserted us so far," he said.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Glentoran v Cliftonville

Ronan Scannell could miss Saturday's game in east Belfast
Cliftonville are sweating on the fitness of Ronan Scannell as they prepare for the pick of Saturday's JJB Sports Premiership games.

The full-back has a dead leg and is rated doubtful for the Oval fixture.

Reds boss Eddie Patterson was unhappy with the performance of referee Stephen Wetherall in Tuesday night's 3-1 defeat at Lisburn Distillery.

The Solitude club said it would be taking their concerns to the Referees Committee and the IFA.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Lis Distillery v Newry City

Michael Collins is sidelined for the Premiership encounter
Newry pair Michael Collins and Sean Friars are ruled out of the JJB Sports Premiership visit of the Whites.

Collins has the flu while an ankle injury keeps out Friars - Cullen Feeney (hamstring) and Lee Feeney (flu) are doubts for the games.

Alan Davidson and Ian Curran are drafted into the Newry squad.

Distillery are at full-strength for the trip to the Showgrounds and Paul Kirk's team will hope to build on their 3-1 success over Cliftonville on Tuesday.

The Whites opened up with a 1-1 draw with Glentoran and Kirk is delighted with the start to the league campaign.

"We've played well against two teams tipped to win the league and it is a reward for hard work.

"We are a hungry team, the football is good and the new arrivals have blended in really well."

Fully agree with this..We have a very weakened side heading to Lisburn tomorrow missing 3 of our best players in Friars, Cullen Feeney and Mickey Collins. Combine that with Distillery playing well at the minute then the 4/5 is a gret price!

Also Crusaders have been playing well and with a bit of luck could be sitting on maximum points at the minute. Bangor havent been playing that well although they have points on the board.

Re: 30th Aug: N Ireland Premier League

lisburn third home game should go in their favour after drawing glentoran and beating cliftonville, nice results so far. lisburn at 1.82.

glentoran started with two draws - 1-1 at distillery after dismal performance, 1-1 vs crusaders on tuesday. expectations are high and they have capable squad to beat cliftonville. glentoran @2.1 for their first season win.
