Re: 7th May: Scottish League Play-Offs

Again i still havent caught up with this all yet and will have to leave it unless something jumps out at me. Airdrie v cvlyde loks a tight game to me as Clyde have been better on the road (saturday excepted) and Airdrie at home i don't really rate. Suppose Airdrie has to be the call but i aint sure i would bet on it.

Loads of form between Stranraer and Arbroath this season and with me prefering both teams away from home Arbroath could interest me. Im sure that they were the better team at Stairs Pk this season but again the odds proba aint good enough for me to back. Im draw to 2 draws i suppose

Doesn't look like any value like the price of Airdrie (1st game) or Clyde (2nd game).

Looks like the bookies have the right prices here. Would want to be on Airdrie but that looks about the right price. Arbroath and Stranraer does look a tough call although if tempted it would be Stranraer as i keep reading about how dreadful Arbroath are but Stranraer haven't beaten Arbroath. No bets on these games tonight.

Re: 7th May: Scottish League Play-Offs

They do nothing for me either milners and i think my best advice would be to keep your money in your pocket Cinny. To tell you the truth Bet365 have moved Airdrie in to 6/5 from 11/8. I havent looked at team news and no offence i prob wont as i'm by for the season and any time spent will be getting ready for the aussie football which looks likely to be starting a week on saturday now.

Oddschecker have Arbroath and Stranraer round the other way now If stranraer are away then that would put me off Arbroath and onto them. thats how slender that one is to me and you can see how much i care by not even looking. Sorry folks. Actually i Have to look at team news really dont i. this is terrible. Aye stranraer are away. Im for a little of the 2 aways again. Albertz back for Clyde. He aint done much but i think Clyde might have got a bit of a wake up call will alloa. Im hoping for some of their tenacious away form they showed in spells during the season and they performed well in cups even though the result might not have shown that. I better double check all that folks but suddenly ive brightened up a bit for it all again. Nah its madness. 1pt stakes all round it will be if anything

Re: 7th May: Scottish League Play-Offs

for all whats said about stranraer better away and Arbroath being murder at home and as milners points out pretty murder all in arbroath dont look right at 7/4 and its stranraer i want to bet Heh i aint even read their Play-off reports. they been murder in them too just want to stop and get on with aussie stuff. thats my problem. And i have no cigs as documented behind the general chat tab. Come on folks you tell me how arbroath has been playing the play-offs. How wereAirdrie at home to Raith? Where they as impressive at Raith as the scorline suggested? What about Clyde? I dont think there will be much between the 2 and thats why i'm thinking about them.

Re: 7th May: Scottish League Play-Offs

having seen airdrie in person v raith, and clyde v livi earlier this season, id have to say any bets this time would have to be on the home side.

real tough one to bet on though, clyde wouldve taken a massive lift from their second leg for sure, but they are worse than this airdrie side who will be up for their last home game of the season.

theres plenty of other football on tonight, ill be watching the scores for interests sake but im not putting a penny on it.

unless i decide to go for an under 2.5 bet

Re: 7th May: Scottish League Play-Offs

For us, I'd be swayed by the draw. Both games at Gayfield have ended in a draw between the sides this season. Personally I'm quite confident we can win over the 2 legs, especially after the game at the weekend (Even getting to extra-time flattered Cowden) where our team looked very determined. I do think the main work will be done on Saturday though.

Re: 7th May: Scottish League Play-Offs

interesting take on things lichtie. wait for the next leg, im tempted to say the same for your game.

the impression i got from airdrie v raith was that they wanted to finish the job on the day (first leg that is) and will be going for it tonight, im a fan of over/under bets now and may will get involved in an overs bet here.

clyde could do anything, some of their results in the first this year were actually reasonably impressive given the players available now i look over them, think there could be 3 goals in it tonight.

wouldnt bet on anything else

Re: 7th May: Scottish League Play-Offs

yea these look 2 very tight games tonight.......after cowdenbeath beating my outright double last saturday ive called time on my season.......im finished untill august.......for just a matter of interest i think airdrie will still win their playoff and get promoted.....and i think that stranraer will win theirs and get promoted......ill be on again from time to time to see what everybody is up to.....ill be missing my friday night chats with the space cat and komp......but next season will not take long in drawing in......over and out.....
