I think youre underestimating Cowdenbeath, I think itll be a good game and could possibly decide the winner of the 4 teams as I think both yourselves and Beath will be too strong for Montrose and Stranny. I dunno though, I'm trying to not to think about it

I don't think I will be putting money on our game but I think including the draw would be a wise move. Our inconsistency at home just makes it so hard to bet.

Also, I'm a better judge of our team than Edin. I actually go to games

Clarks a miss but i aint too sure Cowdebeath fans would say the same about Hannah. Suppose if he made the differance that day he could well be missed. He never really done much for Cowdenebath from what i remember. forgot he was even there.

Edin is off back to Africa in the next couple of days, I'm pretty sure he's missing this game.

I agree that Cowden is the value bet. Hopefully Edin backs them. I think the last time he backed us to lose, we were 4-0 up after 25 minutes.

I remember when Scotland were playing Ukraine LL i had my doubts over Scotland and i was on Ukraine big style. Edin was disgusted in me as was most folks and he was right to call me a cnut afterwards. Nothing to do with me not blindly supporting Scotland in this big game more to do with me being a bit of a cnut about it. Regarding this wednesday's game i have to admit as some will know i do over rate cowdenbeath especially away from home this season. If they can get gilfilian and the like playing. aye your boys will be up for it and im sure Mcglashan wil have them right up for it but i still think the value is in the away. Cowden will again be missing a host of players through injury. John Armstrong, David Armstrong, Mark Baxter, Jon Robertson, John Dempster, Scott Gates, Dene Droudge and Stephen Manson are all out. In addition, Dougie Hill and Jay Shields won't be risked due a slight knock and suspension worry respectively.

Cowden received a boost on Thursday night when Hearts loan pair John and David Armstrong returned to training and both could come into contention for the play-offs - the former has a chance of being fit for the Arbroath games while the latter may be available for the 2nd round of play-off games if Cowden progress.

Bryan Gilfillan left the Club earlier this week to join Australian side Sunshine Coast Fire and will not play a part as Cowden fight for 2nd division survival

Conventional wisdom suggests momentum of the team in form can carry them through the playoffs. The record of the four teams over the past 6 games points to Stranraer:

Stranraer 16 points
Montrose 9 points
Cowdenbeath 7 points
Arbroath 6 points

And we've only scored 6 times in the past 8 games suggetsing another issue and the failure to perform at home these past 2 seasons is a concern, especially trying to get an edge after the first leg.

Still. we're there and who knows what might change.

man i just wish Cowdenbeath were in better shape. Theyre probably in mbetter shape than i know mind. possibly I still cant not see me being on Cowdenbeath
