Someone come on the daily punt or the punters lounge today about 2.15 saying the East Fife game was fixed,he said he was told off his local bookie to avoid them.Someone then came on saying he knew the chairman and he wouldnt let it happen and to stop talking shit.The lads answer was to watch the result sure enough 2-0 down at 4.30pm the game ended 2-2 at a nice 11/4.The thread seems to have gone missing...
You would hope this is wrong when people like Parksy as so much riding on it,I think the scots 3rd division could be bent..

yes m.c.f.c i knew there was a risk of that kind of thing happening........i took the chance......and i got it badly wrong im afraid........what a very dissapointing end to a great season for me......i thought for sure that east fife would have at least won that game today......at the very worst......

i cant say much now as i havent read the report on todays game yet.......but it will be interesting to read.......when east fife went 0-2 behind i thought i was seeing things......what a weird scoreline......then in a matter of minutes it was 2-2.......maybe it was a fix.....maybe it was not.....who can tell......but it doesnt matter to me now anyway.......but it sure was a very dissapointing end to my season......

The third division is bent.

It seems no teams are more bent than my own this time of the season when theres nothing to play for. Im sure they'll all have a fantastic summer holiday with profit made from a stenny win today.

but i cant complain about east fife.....when i look at all the great saturdays that they have given me all season......not very often have they let me down.......ill be on again this week sometime when i decide who im betting on in the playoffs.....but ill not be going big.....them playoffs are a lottery.......my last big bet was today......but what a season ive had......if next season is half as good ill be very happy.......ill miss this thread and the crack.....but before we know it it will be time to kick off another season.......

well im away to get a good few drinks to drown my sorrows about east fife today but as i allways say......the war is never won over 1 days betting.....its over the course of the season that matters most and by fcuk i have out gunned them hatefull bookmakers so nobody feel sorry for me today as im very happy with my bank balance tonight i think ill enjoy my summer holidays with the help of the bookmakers money over and out

i had a bloody magic day today. fair play to east fife or whoever for making their money today, i made it on the dodgy stirling game midweek and ayr united last week, no tears today.

like parksy i agree that its all ok and many thanks to he bookies offering odds on the teams we all love... ross county, east fife..... montrose and livi early on...... queen of the south lately... all good. been a great year

Parksy - Sorry only just saw your post about Hugh Dickson. I remember hearing he was on between £150-£175 at Elgin. Left in January due to being homesick, was a fantastic servant to Elgin. Thats a hell of a bloody good wage he's on now, is that a full time or part time wage? Any idea how he's getting on playing for them?

Yeah the Elgin one was a wierd one today. Weak young Stenny team vs Strongest possible Elgin team and we lose 5-1. Somethings a bit fishy there.
