Fuk me gillsy , you have to win on Saturday mate or that's you lot done. Luckily Cheltenham are terrible and have a hard game at Oldham and also in your favour is the fact I aint backing you's !
I like leeds there at nearly evens , yes it's a long trip but there's nowt like momentum going into the play offs and a win there at the team in worst form will give them impetus.

We're fucked anyway, I'd say, even if we do beat Swindon 3pts from safety, but our terrible goal difference means it might as well be 4. Need to score 4 points more than Cheltenham, then, and our last game is away to Leeds. We've had it, that late Bristol Rovers equaliser last week pretty much condemned us

Dont' give up... If Leeds collect all 3 points tomorrow, they can give you another 3 points for some small bribe as they have nothing to play for then... safe in play off

..or at least a point.. if Cheltenham loses both

I'd love to be able to think along those lines, Scorpio, but unfortunately there are two things stopping me. Firstly Leeds are still hopeful of winning their appeal against their points deduction, meaning they may still be in with a chance of automatic promotion, and secondly they've announced the game against Gillingham is a sellout, and I can't see them getting a capacity crowd in only to then put in a disappointing performance

Re: 25-26th April Coca-Cola League One

Beckford a doubt for tonight:

Quote:
LEEDS United are waiting anxiously on the fitness of their leading marksman Jermaine Beckford ahead of tonight's vital trek to Yeovil.

Beckford is battling against an ankle injury which saw him miss the defeat at Huddersfield and last week's triumph at Millwall which got United's promotion play-off momentum back on track.

Said Leeds boss Gary McAllister: "His ankle is still quite sore so we will leave a decision until late."
Yeovil look to have relaxed a bit, Slade hopes for a relaxed performance but I can see them just laying down and getting battered:

Quote:
"The players have trained with a smile on their face and the anxiety has been lifted from their shoulders and that's nice to see," he said.

"They deserve that as they worked exceptionally hard against Swansea."

And Slade said: "The Leeds match is going to be a fantastic game to finish with - it's a full house and it's going to be packed.

Re: 25-26th April Coca-Cola League One

Northampton and Bristol Rovers are two that stand out for me at first glance, as I'd expect both to have been slight favourites

Brighton had something to play for when the game was priced up but after Leeds won tonight the odds on Bristol v Brighton haven't changed. I'll be reading up on both of these games

2008-04-26 Bristol Rovers - Brighton by: Kuki

Respected bookmakers in Great Britain like Bet365, William Hill and Paddy Power already slashed their odds on the hosts (around 2,30 now) but Stan James or Expekt still offer 2,75. Rovers only managed 5 home wins all season and this could be arguement enough to stay away here but in their final home game fans could go home happy. Coach Paul Trollope has announced that a striker is top of his summer shopping list because they very often failed to convert their chances. Until yesterday night Brighton still had a chance to reach the play-offs but Leeds registered three desperately needed points and booked the final play-off spot. This is a big blow for the Seagulls and their motivation for their trip to Bristol is more than questionable. Furthermore a stomach bug has hit the squad this week and this could affect coach Dean Wilkins“ plans for the clash. To oppose Brighton here is the call but due to the fact that only professional pride is at stake only 4 units will be invested.

Pick: H, Odds: 2.75, Stake: 4, Bookmaker: Stan James

Re: 25-26th April Coca-Cola League One

Although the staff will have prepared for this game with the knowledge that it could end up meaningless I think it's still a huge anti-climax for Brighton coupled with the stomach bug then I'm on this too diomed , nice stuff
