I dont know what the stats are Christian but i'd reckon there wil be at least 2 or 3 to lose their jobs. Is that till the end of the season i presume?

Re: 1st Premiership Manager Given the Boot

Must be but lets get that value debate started, in every 40 seasons surely they will be a season of no manager casulties in the top flight

I couldnt back any of those with any great deal of confidene which lead me to think that maybe no manager at 40/1 isnt too bad a shout. Its so probable that one will lose there job but 40/1 is a bit too high for me- I think im getting a decent go on my money.

Saying that City will win tommorrow and Souness will be gone

Re: 1st Premiership Manager Given the Boot

What would it take for Celtic to sack Martin O'Neill? If he was on the market then I'm sure one of the Premiership teams would create a vacancy for him.

I can't see Shepherd sacking Souness in the short term. Firstly he would lose too much face and secondly, I can't see who they would get to replace him. Souness seems to have been a bit of a desperate choice last time so I can't see that Shepherd's going to want to do it again unless he absolutely has to, i.e. relegation looks a real possibility. If the Mags are still near the bottom at Christmas, then Souness will go.

No. Shows how much interest I take in Scottish football. I take it he left, then!

Interesting bet this one, how many managers have been sacked yet?

Reggie Perrin left, but was he sacked or did he leave? Hmmm

Re: 1st Premiership Manager Given the Boot

I'm pretty sure it doesn't matter, AFU, I think it's based on the manager leaving his job, whether sacked, resigned, whatever.

From Bet365
"Bets struck are on the next permanent manager to leave his club. If no manager has left his position by the end of the last scheduled league fixture, then the 'No Manager To Leave' option, will be deemed the market winner."

Souness now 4/6 favourite, by the way
