Swansea clinched promotion by beating Gillingham on 12 April, and can win the title on Saturday if they win against Yeovil, or if they match Carlisle's result.

Carlisle are in pole position for the second automatic spot, three points ahead of Doncaster, while the teams finishing third, fourth, fifth and sixth will enter the play-offs. Carlisle, Doncaster and Nottingham Forest are all assured of at least a play-off spot - while Southend need just one more point to make sure of their place.

Four teams are relegated from this division. Bottom club Luton went down on 12 April after their defeat by Brighton and Port Vale's draw with Huddersfield on the same day was not enough to keep them up. Bournemouth remain in trouble despite their win over Bristol Rovers, and will go down if they lose at Walsall on Saturday and Crewe avoid defeat against Cheltenham.

The usual suspects for me in this division.
Carlisle and Forest.
Atucally , looking again , i didnt realise how well Southend were doing ( 5th ) and five points clear of Leeds.
Whats the crack with Leeds btw , when do they find out if they get the 15 points back ?

Walsall against relegation threatened Bournemouth , thats a tough one , it means plenty to both teams , might chance the draw on this one..

Might not be for 3 or 4 weeks, apparently

They're setting themselves up for problems there. Opinion on the Gills forum is that there may be some kind of compromise of giving them 5 points back. If that then turns out to have any effect on the play-off places, you'd expect to have appeals from the teams affected, and they're not going to have time for all that.

I think Bournemouth may actually be a decent bet there at Walsall, Walsall have been slipping of late, Bournemouth are on fire, and even though I don't think they'll stay up even if they win all 3 remaining games (not convinced 50pts will be enough), a win will at least give them some hope to cling on to.

Couldn't be backing the Gills away from home myself, but it's a must-win game against a Bristol Rovers side that should be safe now (52pts and a decent goal difference).

I agree with you rc about Leeds and they will given back the number of points that won't affect their position.

I'm on Swansea and Forest today in this league
