Haha, good one.

East Fife will be presented with the 3rd div trophy after the match, so i imagine they will put one 1 last full-strength display to top off a fine season.

Arbroath have been absolutely shite this whole season, so just lucky the teams around us have been equally bad, as i have no idea how we managed to get into a play-off position!

10/11 looks massive against the runaway league winners in front of a huge home crowd, vs a team well out of form who got stuffed by the worst team in Scotland 3 years running.

SCOTTISH DIVISION ONE

The top club - either Hamilton Accies or Dundee - will be promoted to the SPL. Hamilton just need to match Dundee's result on Saturday to be promoted.

Stirling Albion have been relegated following their loss at Partick Thistle on 8 April.

The ninth-placed club will enter a play-off with three Second Division clubs, with Morton chasing Clyde and Livingston for safety.

SCOTTISH DIVISION TWO

Ross County wrapped up the Second Division title on 5 April by thrashing already-relegated Berwick 4-0.

Teams finishing second, third and fourth will enter a play-off with the ninth-placed Division One team. Airdrie United have already booked their play-off place, and Raith Rovers can join them if they avoid defeat at Berwick on Saturday. Alloa Athletic, Brechin City, and Peterhead are battling it out for the last spot.

Bottom club Berwick Rangers were consigned to relegation on 29 March when they drew 2-2 with Peterhead, while the ninth-placed team - confirmed as Cowdenbeath after their 4-0 defeat at Airdrie on 15 April - will enter a play-off with three Third Division clubs.

SCOTTISH DIVISION THREE

Champions East Fife were the first team in Britain to win a league title when they won 3-0 at East Stirlingshire on 15 March.

Teams finishing second, third and fourth will enter a play-off with the ninth-placed Division Two team (Cowdenbeath). Stranraer and Montrose have now made sure of their play-off spot, with Elgin City chasing Arbroath for the other place.

There is no relegation from this division.

Man i suppose i should get started really. I cant see me not being on things. anyhow i for Raith too for sure Parksy probably sooner than later. Need to go look at this Peterhead game. Suppose there should be some good team news to pick up for other possibles this week too.

Brechin unbeaten in their last 10 aways. unbeaten in their last 9 v Peterhead too. Thats a positive. I was fancying them for other reasons.

The Pie Shop > Brechin 3-1 Peterhead

Peterhead are dreadful though. How they are in the position in the moment is behond belief.
noice

The Pie Shop > Peterhead 1-2 Brechin

Peterhead v Brechin City (26_12_07)

solid

The Pie Shop > Brechin 2-2 Peterhead

Breechin are a better team since then and Peterhead were off to a good start. Im liking it

Brechin City Football Club

Brechin have gave up their match reports this season. shame as they used to be up there with the best of them

not so good

Aye Brechin are defo the value call and i am away to back them to win right now. its that simple.

13/8 best priced with Partbets but im more than happy with the 6/4 at bet365. need to finalise a few things but based on value alone i think Brechin are well worth their price. Its the end of the road Peterhead

Re: 19th April Scots 1-2-3

soz folks i will have to read up. Im trying to just look at one thing at a time. its my new zen way of living. If i start going on about arbroath edin i'll get lost. i will be sorting my coupon proper tomorrow night.

I was hoping Ayr were understrengthed for their defeat at Peterhead. where they Wet Sail? Looked ok to me from this team

ay Game aside Peterhead have been pretty dire the last 4 games. I really think Brechin will have too much for them. Talk of Bavidge not been performing for Peterhead since his return too. I really do think Brechin will give them a harder game than Ayr did and i think Brechin are gonna win. Need to wait on team news but Brechin are a team thats all came back from injury. this is a must win game for them. Let me see the league....

Well it's the same for them both I thought Peterhead were in alloa's place. Still thats not too much of a worry. I am thining that a Draw No Bet option could be my way to go. Im sick of not taking the safer option. Hold on Brechin Draw No Bet is 19/20 with Sportingodds. I like the sound of that. thought it would be 1.75 or something (i dont do DNB see) I'll be on the straight win as the price is too good not to have but i might have a little bit of cover. Actually DNB isnt 'cover' of a straight win bet is it?

Re: 19th April Scots 1-2-3

My Scottish league bets this weekend...

I know Komp disagrees, but I think Shire are going to do it this weekend. They are much improved under McInally and are on a good run at the moment. They have added some experience into thier side in recent weeks and they've got Savage back and will hopefully have Rodgers back this weekend.

I've a big single on Shire at 9/5 and a small single on Draw/Shire at 5/1

My other big bet of the day is a Raith/Shire double. Raith have been talked about a lot on here, so i dont to explain and i've already explained about Shire.

Along with the double, I've got a Draw/Rath and Draw/Shire double and have also made it a treble along with Draw/Hamilton.

As for my own team, i do have a small single on Draw/Elgin, but it's just a wee bonus bet.

You might notice I have a lot of draw/"enter teams name here" bets. Its something I've done all season and i have made 5 times as much as i've lost from it. For the Average Draw/Fulltime bet, you can usually get odds between 80/1 and 120/1. Just last weekend, I had a Draw/Man U, Draw/Chelsea, Draw/Liverpool treble at 84/1 and that late late Wigan goal ended up making me lose out on a healthy 3 figure sum from a £5 bet.

But overall this season, the Draw/Full time Trebles and Doubles have made me a lot of money. Its something that a lot of punters dont even seem to ever consider.

No idea why i thought i'd share that with you, i bet its put you all to sleep

Re: 19th April Scots 1-2-3

You could well be right on the Shire Cityfan but i do honestly think that East Stirling will struggle to get a goal at Dumbarton and i can't think of the last time Savage scored (prob the week before last ) Rogers has done sod all too. I actually had them to beat Arbroath last week at 5/2 on a small perm but never got a winner with them. Under 2.5 goasls is 10/11 at Sportingbet and THAT interests me a lot. What a twat i took all my money out the bank today as i dont like leaving it in. ill be limite dto bet365 though i ould be due a trip into town on a saturday.

East Stirling 2/1 with Extrabet if anyone is taking Cityfan's tip. Im sure tha they are doing a £25 free bet offer to. Worth a look. Good luck Cityfan with it. I'll happily takje a 1-0 shire win if i go for the under 2.5 which i well could do.

Ive been known to do the odd draw/any team here bet Cityfan. Problem for me is i like to sit and hope for things to happen instead of fearing for them to happen. for the first half of a game i would be sitting too nervy dreading seeing something like 26th Minute Queens Park 0-1 Raith (Carcary) on the BBC Videprinter. I prefer sitting waiting hoping for something to happen and for my team too. I want to shout 'get in there!' when they do and then i like to hold on and hopefully go clear of danger. I knew a fella that would back 0-0 draws on TV games.. He was a miserable bastard. I would always laugh when his bet went down in 3 minutes and he would spend the next 87 in a big sulk

Re: 19th April Scots 1-2-3

You make a good point about fearing things happening, I listened to the Chelsea game on the radio and it was torture listening to Wigan go close near the end and then score in injury time and its not something I'd like to go through every week. But, usually i do this bet on a Saturday and im always at a game on a Saturday, so the only scores i hear are the half time scores and then the full times when i get home, or back in the car after a game, which i suppose makes it much easier. I wouldn't recommend it for games your watching, listening to or following on a vidiprinter service!!

Re: 19th April Scots 1-2-3

I was gonna say that it sounds better suited to just catching the scores Cityfan. It's true though fearing something happening and hoping for a goal is two differant things. Shit i better concentrate at this poker. Im such a fud. right ill be back in an hour or hopefully longer folks (some cnuts trying to take over this table and thats MY job )

Re: 19th April Scots 1-2-3

My early thoughts were to back Stenhousemuir and Livi, I'll go check up on them and report back, both games are for nothing so I wont be risking anything too heavy on either if I do at all.
