Re: Coca Cola Championship 29th March

Im with you on West Brom leadbelly, i would take them HT/FT ....... although they havent been playing as well as lately its games like this one that they HAVE to take all 3 points to have any chance of winning the league this year, and Colchester have been playing the way everyone thought they would have played last year when they came up and are destined for the drop.

I also think Leicester will push themselves away from the bottom this week with a win over strugling Scunthorpe, Leicester are unpredictable but at times show bits of class like beating West Brom at The Hawthorns 4 - 1,, they lost last week to an inform Hull city but they are flying and i was on Hull

another two teams i would probably look at would be Crystal Palace (Dont concede much and battling well under Neil Warnock) although Blackpool are draw specialists.....

and,,

maybe Wolves a bit big at Charlton??? charlton bit inconsistent Wolves playing well......

open to opinions lads,,,

Re: Coca Cola Championship 29th March

Titanic clash seeing Hull vs Watford. Hull have been in tremendous form as of late, seen them surge up the league table. I was on paddypower last friday night before they played and they were 22/1 to win the league didnt bother getting on and their now 13/2 and if they win again on Saturday theyll shorten up drastically. I think they have the beatings of watford on their current form.

Also agree with the Watford shout but a poor price could be interested in -1

WBA???

Good stuff chaps and I'm with you's all on WBA , it looks nailed on certainty and that's a prized perl for a coupon.
I hear leicester are looking to sign a biggish name from the premiership , Mpenza from citeh has been mentioned and he'll do ok in the CCC

Also I agree QPR may be worth a punt at longish odds , if they dont win this then it's sunbed time but a win would keep the dream alive

Re: Coca Cola Championship 29th March

QPR are full of goals at the mo 3 goals in 4 of their last 6 games!
I rekon they'll be going for the win in all their remaining games come what may

Re: CC Championship 2007/08 Ante-post

Two picks from this league tomorrow:

Leicester(-1) vs Scunthorpe homewin
WBA(-1) vs Colchester homewin

Leicester should prove to strong for Scunny. They are a ambitous club and should not be fighting for survival like they do. 3-0 Leicester.

WBA might be the best team in the championship and it would be very sad for them to loose one of the promotion spots. They should beat Colchester easy. WBA 5-0. Phillips three goals....

Re: 29th March: Coca Cola Championship

Leicester V Scunthorpe @4/5: On their day Leicester are a match for anybody as shown when they thumped WBA 4-1 away from home 2 weeks ago. They've been inconsistent though all season. Things have improved since Holloway has come in and tomorrows game looks ideal for them to climb away from the bottom 3. Scunny have lost 8 of their last 10 away games and looked destined for the drop. They are missing Cork their most creative player tomorrow as well.

Re: 29th March: Coca Cola Championship

Going for a Hull win today , as mentioned by Cinny , they really are the form team at the moment..
Watford without top scorer Darius Henderson and reguler midfielder John Eustace...
Hang on

From the BBC

Quote:
Midfielder Ian Ashbee (foot injury) is a doubt for Hull's clash with Watford, with Simon Walton in line to deputise.
Defender Wayne Brown could be available after overcoming a calf injury and striker Craig Fagan may return after overcoming a ligament problem.
Watford will be without top scorer Darius Henderson and midfielder John Eustace, who are suspended. Damien Francis (knee) is out and Gareth Williams (cruciate knee ligament) is likely to miss the rest of the season.
