7th/8th March Welsh Premier League

I hope Traeth is not angry for taking his job...

Friday
Carmarthen Town - Aberystwyth Town 2.00 3.33 3.14
Llangefni Town - Welshpool Town 3.60 3.43 1.82
Port Talbot Town - Llanelli AFC 3.36 3.33 1.92

Saturday
Caernarfon Town - Airbus UK FC 2.29 3.25 2.67
Connah's Quay - Caersws 2.02 3.33 3.10
Neath Athletic - Llansantffraid 4.55 3.54 1.63
Newtown AFC - Haverfordwest C. 2.39 3.25 2.55
Porthmadog - Bangor City 3.23 3.33 1.97
Rhyl FC - Newi Cefn Druids 1.29 4.85 7.47
Odds from Bet Explorer

..but after last match and Llanelli's great victory, I must ask why the price for their AW on Friday night is so high?
They demolished Port Talbot in first part of the season with 8-0 !
Also, the same Port Talbot lost heavily 4-1 in last round on their visit to Llangefni Town, currently last team on table.
It's true that Port Talbot beat TNS eaerlier as host, with 1-0, but it's also true that TNS and Llanelli aren't quite at the same level now, confirmed two days ago.
Llanelli is now only three points above TNS, and that's certanly not that much considering there are eight rounds to go.
I smell easy away win.

Your opinion Traeth?

Re: 7th/8th March Welsh Premier League

thanks for posting these prices charly , no i'm not angry mate , i'm happy that there arte others out there with an intrest in this league , agree with you on the Llanelli price ,it was one that stood out for me , the only factor is the number of matches they have played recently
Tue 26/02/08 H CARMARTHEN FAW Cup 1-0
Sun 02/03/08 A CEFN DRUIDS Welsh Cup 6-3 aet
Tue 04/03/08 H TNS -league match 4-0
Fri 07/03/08 A PORT TALBOT -league match

as you've posted Port Talbot lost to bottom club Llangefni 4-1 last Saturday

so i am just placed my bet on Llanelli @1.90 with bet365 4 pts

will have a more detailed look at the other matches later , TNS and Rhyl double perhaps?

been poping in to your blog mate , nice one , hearing that jackson browne tune in my sleep !

we never ever did break the welsh market did we? I think i ran out of ideas too. Welshmen are hard to find. Ah wait a minute! Pub League Football. Swansea here we come (not the first time ive said that in my life - i was supposed to move there 4 years ago as some will know. Never went. Shocking behaviour really)

Rhyl game is rescheduled for tonight, so I reckon it could be another home win and decent combo material.

I agree with you charly about Rhyl but due to the price I'm cosidering Rhyl ht/ft @1.8 with bet365
Rhyl 3rd in the league with a home record of W8 D2 L2 whilst Cefn have the worst away record in the league of W2 D1 L10
The last two weeks results indicate that it may not be that easy for Rhyl
In the Welsh Cup last weekend Cefn took Llanelli to extra time whilst Rhyl won only 3-2 against lower tier Queen's Park.
The previous week Cefn won at home 3-1 against 5th placed Carmarthen whilst Rhyl lost at 10th placed Welshpool.
Finding it difficult to persuade myself to place this bet though
