Re: 4-5th March Scots Football

Partick meet livi for about the 5th time this season. 2 uneverntfull teams playing an uneventfull game. Both teams aint clear of the play-off place yet. I took Livi in the cup at Partick and they held on till the 83rd minute till partick scored and bust my halftime fulltime at 5/1 bet and also Livi to win at about 11/5. Odds are the same again. I would prefer to take less than 2.5 goals but thats never a safe bet. Aye hard to bet on this one. Should i have the same bet again?

nah

shocking prices in Div One.I couldnt back any team. Im sure Ross have done ok v Cowdenbetah this season. Well actually the games might have been closer...nah Ross have owned Cowdenbeath i think. still no bet for me.

oooo Stranrear at 4/6. Not bad. I could like them ht/ft at 8/5. Need to look more. East stirling seem to be back to their best now Wyldes gone. Stranraer a bit lucky last tiem east stiirling came to town i believe. Aye odds about right but i could take Stranraer and thats rare for me taking them at home.

Elgin v Albion looks a tough one. elgin to continue their good home form?

I couldnt take Arbroath at home although they won at the weekend. Dumbarton are definetly looking more of a threat than theyve been. Dumbarton look to have a better chance than the odds suggest imo but i wont be backing htem

Re: 4-5th March Scots Football

I'm taking O 3 in Ross Cty-Cowdenbeath. Although the last three times I've bet the overs in Scotland the final has been 0-0.

Re: 4-5th March Scots Football

Scot 2nd
Soccer - Ross County/Cowdenbeath - total Over 3 (+106)
for the regulation time held on Mar 4 at 2:45pm [pending]

Gonna take this even though the last three times I took a Scottish match the final was 0-0. Ross Cty (30-15 goal differential in 12 home games; 67% overs) is a very prolific scoring team, with six of last seven going over. Cowdenbeath (17-22 goals in 11 away games; 50% overs) have four of last five overs with a number of postponements. Two earlier h2h matchups this year finished 2-2 and 4-2.

Re: 4-5th March Scots Football

Sounds like a fair bet for a Tuesday night Parksy. I still aint too interested all in. Suppose i always have other things on my mind at the moment. I'll have a read of he p&b threads to remind myself a bit but due to time restraints i don't even have a bet for bets sake at the mo.

Re: 4-5th March Scots Football

I've gone for 2 tonight.

Dundee Utd should beat Gretna but I cant help to think that I'm being drawn to this bet cause I've backed them to finish bottom. Supposedly there was to be a pitch inspection but cant find out if its still on or not.

supposedly its now on Thursday night and not tonight.

I'm also going to oppose East Stirling. They've lost their last 5 and are looking more and more likely to finish bottom of the league (again). They only just got beat on sat 4-3 but i'm going against them.

I am not sure, but somewhere in my book Stranrear play well midweek. Anyone with any statistics.

Re: 4-5th March Scots Football

Whats the verdict on elgin tomorrow night? im liking the look of the even money available. I also think Arbroath can take Dunbarton, bar their last good result against Albion Dunbarton have been terrible.

Re: 4-5th March Scots Football

I dont Johnny but well done those that took them tonight. I thought they were at home. Oddschecker has a lot to answer for at the mo. I wouldnt have backed them home or away i think. Cracking stuff from Parksy there. Nice one.

Lets see their so called good home form-

Scottish Division 3 Elgin City 0-2 Montrose 11-08-2007
Scottish Division 3 Elgin City 2-3 East Fife 18-08-2007
Scottish Division 3 Elgin City 3-2 Albion 15-09-2007
Scottish Division 3 Elgin City 6-0 East Stirling 22-09-2007
Scottish Division 3 Elgin City 2-1 Dumbarton 20-10-2007
Scottish Division 3 Elgin City 2-2 Forfar 10-11-2007
Scottish Division 3 Elgin City 1-3 Arbroath 08-12-2007
Scottish Division 3 Elgin City 2-0 Stenh'semuir 29-12-2007
Scottish Division 3 Elgin City 1-2 East Fife 05-01-2008
Scottish Division 3 Elgin City 2-1 Montrose 26-01-2008
Scottish Division 3 Elgin City 0-5 Stranraer 27-02-2008
