Elgin City v Albion Rovers 15-9-07
Albion Rovers v Elgin City 1-12-07

Albion have scored 5 goals v Elgin this season. Just a shame that 4 of them goals where scored by players no longer at the club. I want to back elgin but i still aint convinced.

Albion seem poorer all in for the transfer window. Still quite a hard team to beat mind. Are elgin consistant enough for me to chance them at slight odds on? I still dont know.

It would seem Elgin are better for Dempsie being back in the defence

I still aint convinced though. They need the win if they have to have any chance of a play-off. Im sorely tempted to take them but at the now odds on price i aint that interested really. I could however still be talked into them.

Airdrieonians - Berwick

Could anyone provide potential important missing i at both sides, if any....since I intended to put HW on combo.

Seems like prices for all final scores are changing....strange:

Re: 4-5th March Scots Football

Word of warning to anyone considering having Airdrie on their line tonight. The result shouldn't be in doubt, but the actual chances of the game going ahead maybe. We are having some problems with drainage at the moment and Celtic under 21's had a game postponed on Monday that was scheduled to be played at our ground. Currently, according to the latest news from the club (Airdrie United Football Club) the pitch is fine and the game will go ahead, however it is now raining and any persistant heavy rain between now and kick-off will likely see the game being postponed.

As for the game...I couldn't make to Hampden on Saturday to see us return to winning ways, however by all accounts it was a slightly improved performance from recent games. As I continue to emphasise, we miss Holmes and particularly McDougall, both of whom give us something different which we don't have at the moment. Having seen Berwick only once this season (a 4-0 victory at home in November/December) they were the poorest side I had seen for a while and we beat them comfortably that day without having to play well. Seemingly, they have improved slightly since then but it would be a real shock if we did not win tonight and this is reflected in the odds of about 1/4. Value on this game alone is hard to find but it should be a 'banker' in any potential acca. I am considering taking us along with Chelsea and possibly Liverpool in a treble.

Re: 4-5th March Scots Football

Scot 3 Div
Soccer - Elgin City/Albion - total Over 3 (+108)
for the regulation time held on Mar 5 at 2:45pm [pending]

I like four games about the same today, two in Austria and two in Scotland, but I think I'll just stick with the one here.

Elgin 24-22 goals in 12 home games (84% overs), Albion 17-25 in 13 away (54% overs). H2H this year the scores have been 4-3 and 3-2, and last season all four games got there (3-0, 3-0, 6-2 and 3-1). I saw somebody saying that Albion is having trouble scoring, but both in fact are in a drought: Albion hasn't scored in their last two games, and Elgin prior to beating Forfar on the weekend 3-1 had gone three games without scoring. But with the teams next to each other in the table and with a history of high-scoring matches, I'll go for the overs here.
