You would have to think so Cinny. That coupled with me backing against ross of late i might well be interested yet. Brechin and Ross have to meet 3 more times this season (inc this) and the games could go a long way to seeing who wins the league and if Brechin can make the play-offs.

Just reading that Ian Harty has signed for Stenhousemuir :ee That could be a great signing as i reckon he could do a job in div two never mind Div three

Re: 26/27th Feb: Scottish Div 2 & 3

agree komp, hartys a great wee player, couldve been playing in the spl a few seasons back. hes had a similar career to charlie king at brechin, both lads who couldve gone to a decent level in scottish football had they been luckier in their youth

im not sure how old harty is now, maybe if hes over 32 then full time football could be beyond him, still a cracking signing for stenny

Almost didnt spot our game, coz it was listed in "Division 2". We won't be there for a long time!!!

I'd be interested in Shire if i can find some tasty odds. With us apparently utter shite on Saturday, AGAIN, Shire are a team to cause us problems. THE SAV MAN will score surely

With this in mind do ya reckon Stenny would be a good bet to beat Dumbarton @11/10? Dumbarton on a horrible run at the minute, although they did beat Arbroath last Saturday.

Re: 26/27th Feb: Scottish Div 2 & 3

that albion price would be fantastic given recent upturn in results if this was a weekend fixture, midweek lower leagues is a minefield outside the first division.

He must be on holiday as there aren't any midweek tips from him. Cause it's the SPL tomorrow night - it'll probably be in the morns paper.

Peterhead to beat Alloa 3-0 @ 16/1

With three wins out of three, eight goals for and none against, Peterhead are on the crest of a wave. Alloa kept a clean sheet on Saturday, but only Berwick have conceded more goals away from home.

Here is the tip from the Scotsman paper today though

Re: 26/27th Feb: Scottish Div 2 & 3

19:45 Cowdenbeath (5/4) Draw (13/5) Queens Park (9/5)

"Injury and suspension problems continue to mount up for Brian Welsh with no fewer than 9 players ruled out and a further two facing late fitness tests. Bryan Gilfillan serves a one game ban after his controversial dismissal at the weekend but will be in good company in the stand with injury ruling out Mark Baxter, Matt Doherty, John Armstrong, John Dempster, Dougie Hill, Kyle Allison while Jamie Reid and Danny McKay, who have both featured in the first team squad recently, are unavailable due to illness. In addition, Jay Shields and John O'Neil will face late fitness tests after picking up knocks against Peterhead.

Youth prospects Jon Robertson, Scott Linton and Gary Cennerazzo join 19s team mate Dene Droudge and loan signing Denis McLaughlin , who both made their first team debuts on Saturday, in the squad."
