Re: 16th Feb: Scottish 1-2-3 Divisons

Was at the first game between Queens and Stirling at the end of Sept, finished 2 2 with Stirling taking the lead, going behind then scoring a late equaliser cost me about £500.
QoS have improved ,but Stirling aint any dummies and still feel they have a chance of catching Clyde or Morton, in the match at Stirling they again took the lead before Queens came back and won 3 1.
As Komp says in an earlier post QoS are only playing well in small bursts but are winning matches who knows they may have more improvement in them, having been a supporter for nearly 40 years i would say this is an excellent time to oppose them as they never make things easy for themselves .

Re: 16th Feb: Scottish 1-2-3 Divisons

Ill get roughly 9/2 on the 4 timer, which i dont think is a bad price. Backing against the bottom teams is something i do every now and again. I used it to good effect around november time in the conference backing against droylsden, stafford, altrincham and northwhich it worked for 2 weeks paying out around 7-9/1 accums however it quickly went pear shaped. Ill have a little on the 9/2 and think ill have a slice of Brechin im liking their chances with your write ups and i think after the berwick disaster a few months back they owe me

Re: 16th Feb: Scottish 1-2-3 Divisons

Cracking stuff iafa. Thats what im thinking. I think QOS's form looks a lot better than it is. dont get me wrong i took QOS in the handicap list preseason as they were building an impressive midfield and ive been keeping an eye on them and theres some great QOS posters on Pie and Bovril giving seemingly unbiased views each week. I would rate QOS at about 4/5 tomorrow and if your getting less then i do think your taking too short a price Parksy. I do. good luck if you take them and i can see why you would take them but they are too short for me to consider.

Brechin are a great bet tomorrow i think. Yes airdrie are hard to beat but again its all to do with price for me. Brechin are never 3/1 shots imo. I'll have to just confirm how much i will be putting on them but truth be told i aint overly confident. Its all to do with the price though.

I'll need to go lok at some team news. I like Parksy would be interested in what others are on this week. Looks like 2 tentative choices in Brechin and St johnstone for me.

cinny good luck with your bet against the bottom teams.....it looks to have a good chance......teams at the bottom are there for a reason......they are not good teams.....simple fact......plus they dont often win....thats why they are bottom......total wins for the bottom teams in scotland so far reads as follows.....gretna 3wins.......stirling 3 wins....berwick 2 wins.......and forfar the best of a bad bunch with 4 wins.......just hope there are no big shocks tomorrow mate.....i dont know much about gretna mate but the other 3 poor teams all look nailed on to loose tomorrow.....

Re: 16th Feb: Scottish 1-2-3 Divisons

ill be on again later on tonight folks......was just looking at stenny there......they have 3 or 4 players back tomorrow....ferguson could be back as well....they wouldnt be without a chance there tomorrow i think......they could beat stranraer....but 6 teams is more than enough for me....im doing no one else.....im not worried about queen of the south winning komp....that would only be a bonus for me that....its ross county and montrose im more worried about mate.....plus if east fife and arbroath could win as well it would be even better......i would gladly settle for them last 4 teams mentioned to win now and my other 2 teams not to win......i would settle for that no problem.....it would be a great day for me....thats for sure....

Re: 16th Feb: Scottish 1-2-3 Divisons

Cheers mate ill be hoping for the best id be surprised if i dont get a good run for my money atleast. Their botom for a reason at this stage of the season and the teams they are playing are in good form. Motherwell have been playing ok as of late, gretna have only 2 wins at home as youve said while motherwell read 6-05 on their travels. Queen of the South look a cracker bet on stats, unbeaten in 6 winning 5 of those and scoring 7 at home only conceding 2. Stirling have been improving though i think QOS will win it. On to Ross who are terriffic on their travels 8-1-2 and should have the beating of Berwick. Montrose are super on the road as well 7-2-3 while forfar read 2-1-7 at home. Montrose have also scored 22 goals and conceded 8 away from home.

A quick look at team news for Div One and Two makes me still ike the sound of Brechin (more so poss) and St johnstone. I could add Livi to the list if im getting even money and there's something to suggest that they are gonna start taking their chances. Aye i think ill be on these three at least

thats a terrible thing to say Kegs. Your odds should be your first and foremost concern. If they aint to your liking then you shouldnt be on them. I like Ross county and Montrose to win but i wouldnt be backing them at the prices on offer. If the price aint right....dont bother.

Re: 16th Feb: Scottish 1-2-3 Divisons

Arbroath and Airdrie double is my tip for the weekend folks, dodgy referee in line for the Arbroath game coupled with Albion having 4 key players out won't help them too much.

While Airdries recent form speaks for itself and they are actually starting to grind out results and find consistency, something they have been lacking for much of this season.

agree 110% komp but i can't be arsed looking for other alternatives - and rather than not bet - i needed to throw montrose into a line (to make up numbers for perms) and cause i fancied them early in the week before odds where published then i would really kick myself on sat night if i hadn't backed them and they had won - even if the team i had put in their place had have won at ridiculous odds - say 7/2 then i would still be put out cause i never backed them.

the mind is a funny place to be
