This column is more than happy to hold its hands up when it gets it wrong and the tip of Luton to beat Bournemouth last weekend was as bad as it gets!

Judging by the 4-1 defeat at home to a Bournemouth side who had 24 hours earlier gone into administration, we have to assume that Luton have all but accepted their fate and will be playing League Two football next season.

On that basis and with Leyton Orient trying to play Championship football next season, the 13/8 on Orient leaving Kenilworth Road with maximum points on Saturday is the one we want to be on.

With no money and all of the star names gone, Mick Harford has an almighty task on his hands to keep the Hatters up, and with Luton suffering a massive injury crisis at present (they have no fit central defenders available), the season run-in could end up being more about saving pride rather than their League One status.

It's now six losses and a draw from their last seven league matches and with 14 goals conceded from their last five games, goals are being leaked at an alarming rate of knots and Orient should easily have enough firepower to exploit this.

Martin Ling's men are two points outside of the play-off places in eighth place and will be desperate to bounce back from a sloppy 1-0 home defeat to Crewe on Tuesday night, when they stumbled out of the blocks in the first-half before missing a string of chances in the second 45 minutes.

And while it has now been six games since Orient last won a league game, that coming in a 2-1 win at home to Luton, recent draws against promotion rivals Tranmere, Southend and Walsall suggest that all is in order at Brisbane Road and the 13/8 on them picking up away win number six looks well worth a nibble.

Re: 16th Feb Coca-Cola League One

i've got two bets in this league
bet 1 going with top of the league Swansea against bottom club Port Vale
Swansea are 8 points clear at the top ,Port Valle are trailing well behind at the bottom with Luton , who have had points deducted anywhere near them.
Swansea have gone 16 games unbeaten.
Swansea available @ 1.8 with betfred

bet 2 Oldham v Yeovil Under 2.5
lowest scoring teams in the league playing each other Yeovil 29 , Oldham 31 , Crewe and Gillingham have scored 30 , but in their last 10 league matches
Yeovil have scored 7 and Oldham 9
not a good price @ 1.6

Oldham Athletic 3-0 Yeovil ... the poor price put me off , more luck than judgement
Port Vale 0-2 Swansea ... not a difficult selection that went right
