Re: 16-17th Feb FA Cup
Lots of talk about Man U v rsenal, its all over the place as to be expected and if nothing else, probably the best reason to go no-where near this game.
As a betting proposition, I can't see why anyone would get involved in these near lotteries. I don't watch a lot premiership stuff anymore but the 'big four' games I have seen tend to end up as defensive affairs or at the very least very tight games with only the odd slip here or there seperating the teams. the last five game at old trafford read 2-2-1, with six games to choose from in the FA Cup surely there are better games to go on than this one?! Re: 16-17th Feb FA Cup
yea it could well be a draw slick......all im saying is ill be very surprised if arsenal are beat.....its just the way that city carved utd up last sunday has me thinking this way.....to be honest city could have got 5 goals...arsenal will def create chances against that defence....thats for sure......but if they can turn the chances into goals is another matter......i think this game is anybodys.....it will all depend on the night and whoever gets that wee bit of luck.....if i was a bookie i wouldnt make anybody favourites in this match....i would price each of them up 6-4.....NO WAY ARSENAL SHOULD BE 3-1.....

Re: 16-17th Feb FA Cup
Its Arsenals price that is the main factor here as they continue to drift, 4.3's now on Betfair in a game that either side is capable of winning, its the sort of price you would expect if United were playing Liverpool never mind the League leaders on a good run of form.
I know its a Lottery and hence the reason i originally stated i won't be betting on this game but the further the price for Arsenal drifts the more tempted I am to have a wee dabble on them. |

Re: 16-17th Feb FA Cup
I just tend to find any losing bet a bit disheartening slick and although i always enjoy punts on the big games on the box, the only beti ever feel tempte to go on is the unders but they always seem to be priced far too low for my liking.
Now WBA away to Cov, we got any interest on this one? |

Re: 16-17th Feb FA Cup
yea slick if i do decide to have a bet on this game it wont be too big either.....but im like you...arsenals price is drawing me in mate.....i think utd could be about to hit a wee sticky spell as well.....but as i said earlier arsenal are def the best footballing team in england at the moment.....no doubt at all about that.....their passing and movement is top class.....

Re: 16-17th Feb FA Cup
Coventry although terrible in the league seem to save their good days for the cups this season beating what was a poor utd team in the carling cup then blackburn in the fa cup which was quite a coup. Was dissapointed with West Brom midweek drawing 0-0 wit sheff utd at home but their a much better team ability wise than coventry. Dunno if id bet on the game.
What ya think of Sheff Utd - Boro?? New manager for the blades but im think Boro to get the win. A good run out for Alves could yield a few goals against the poor Blades |

Re: 16-17th Feb FA Cup
Any time a new manager is appointed a big 'NO BET' siren goes off in my head, it just adds another bit of uncertainty into a game which is hard enough to predict in the first place!
Oh bollocks to it, i'm not gonna get involved, think West Brom have enough to take the game but just can't be bothered to research it now |
