Re: 11-12th Feb Scots FA Cup

I wouldnt know about the first 2 games but the other 2 whilst being intriguing contests may not offer much to the punter. Partick had their 2 main forwards out on saturday (i believe) and Livi have Dorans and errr thingywayjig, went on loan to Stirling, Snograss. I know Partick were a bit flattered in their 4-0 win up at Livi. Livi playing well now. Hard game and prob no bet is my bet on this.

St Johnstone away in the cup midweek? not something i would care to invest too much in. 2 teams going the right way although St Johnstone could have had some better results. Need to look at h2h's but i remember losing on St Johsntone at ross last season midweek (2 goals from errr...someone) Aye all in i dont think i will be bothered much. Saturday coupon should be more interesting (well more interesting than it was last week. I couldnt even be bothered posting as nothing appealed)

Re: 11-12th Feb Scots FA Cup

I cant even get excited about the Super J's away from home this time but the 5/4 (better will be avail) looked a decent price but - nah not for me.

If the game was tomorrow night then I may have backed Motherwell but I cant be arsed looking at the team news to see who played/didn't play.

St Mirren are also a decent price and by all accounts they should have won the first game but couldn't take any of the decent chances they created so 7/2'ish looks a tad generous.

Howdo Kegs you big smelly bastard nice win for Dundee last night i see.

Partick Thistle will be without the services of cup-tied Stephen McKeown and injured Mark Roberts for their Scottish Cup clash with Livingston.

Striker Liam Buchanan also continues to battle a groin problem and the match may come too soon for him.

Livingston are close to full strength, with only defender Dermot McCaffrey set to miss out through injury.

The Lions halted a run of five straight league defeats with a draw against Dundee on Saturday.
that last bit aint right surely? Livi beat Stirling 3 weeks ago. Let me check that in a bit. Im seriously starting to consider Livi tonight. Partick have only won once at home since Sept if my memory serves me right and with them still missing their forward line i have to be interested in Livi.

Sod it livi are 11/5 in Coral and that price justifies a bet imo. Need to look more into it but i can't see me not taking them.

Livi 0-0 Partick: post match comments - LiviLions.co.uk

from the 1st game. Livi have a prob scoring which is a worry. McPake has really helped their leaky defence though. Need to go read more on Partick but im still thinking that Livi could still be well worth an interest at the price. Buchan could play and upset me though
Quote:
Mark Roberts is still sidelined and will miss the third game in a row, but Alan Archibald should return and top scorer Liam Buchanan is hopeful of being able to play some part in the game despite still being troubled with a groin injury. Recent signing Vitezslav Mooc has finally received international clearance but isn't expected to feature.

There was little comfort in McCall's post match honesty following Saturday's 1-0 defeat at bottom side Stirling. He described the performance as 'shocking' and 'crap', and the Jags could hardly have had worse preparation for an important cup-tie, but with the carrot of a big game to come in the next round, the players can have no excuse for not being up for this game.
ptfc.net - Livingston cup preview

Aye its going to be tight and im taking Livi to sneak it.

Livingston to win @ 11/5 coral 3pts (1-10)
livi ht/ft @ 5/1 coral 1pt

good luck and see you all tomorrow sports betting fans

Re: 11-12th Feb Scots FA Cup

doing ok komp

nice win for dundee right enough. i never bothered looking at team news so i was glad about that.

I'm leaving the Partick/Livvie game alone - to many if's and buts for my liking.

Might dabble with St Mirren tomorrow but I'm away for another look at the stats etc.

Re: 11-12th Feb Scots FA Cup

Dundee Utd in one cup final and should take a step towards another Hampden appearance against St Mirren. Saints should probably have won the first game but their old failing of not being able to score goals was the reason they didn't win. Even Gretna have scored more in the SPL. Enough said.

United are plenty short enough but I fancy them to win.

St Johnstone on the road are a disaster for punters and face a tough challenge against County who have no problems finding the net. 2/1 the highlanders is tempting.

Big incentive for Partick Thistle and Livvy in the shape of a likely quarter final at Ibrox but trying to call a winner looks very difficult. The Jags have been struggling lately but have beaten Livvy easily in the 2 league games played this season and have only lost once at Firhill. Might just edge it.

Re: 11-12th Feb Scots FA Cup

i know this is late but i was really impressed with st mirren in the second half on saturday, wouldnt be backing united at all if they can continue the play they finished with against us.

they may well have turned the corner, im expecting them to win comfortably against somebody soon, the new boy from the mls dorman has got bags of potential and in flashes linked well with dargo. hope they lose tonight and puch their price up for the falkirk game this weekend even more, if they lose then we'll be looking at 7/2+ away to the bairns
