Wales Premier League odds from bet365

05 Feb 19:30 Caernarfon v Caersws 2.20 3.25 2.80

just one midweek game between two struggling clubs

league positions

14. Caernarfon 23 6 3 14 33:55 21

16. Caersws 21 5 5 11 25:49 20

Both sides perform better away from home

Caernarfon's home record
W2 D2 L7
Caersws' away record
W4 D3 L4

Caernarfon were beaten 1-0 away to a low tier club Guilsfield in the Welsh Cup on Saturday.
Caersws had a free weekend.

Caernarfon have only won one league match is their last 10.
Caersws have lost 4 games in their last 10 but that included losses to the top three clubs of Llanelli, TNS , Rhyl and Aberystwyth.

Caernarfon had four players missing for Saturday due to 3 injuries and 1 suspension. Will have to look up tomorrow's team news in the Daily Post.

Initial impression seems to indicate an away win to Caersws @2.8 , but a draw is a danger.
I can't believe that I'm considering risking money on Caersws.

Some better betting propositions at the weekend though.

Re: 5th Feb Caernarfon v Caersws WPL

this is latest news about the Caernarfon v Caersws match tonight from welsh-premier site

Quote:
CAERNARFON must put the memory of Saturday's Welsh Cup exit at Cymru Alliance Guilsfield behind them as they face a crucial 'six-pointer' at home to Caersws in the Welsh Premier.
Both clubs are dangerously close to the relegation zone and meet at The Oval in a fixture brought forward from Wednesday night to avoid a clash with Wales' international friendly against Norway at The Racecourse.
Canaries' boss Steve O'Shaughnessy may hand a debut to new signings Dean Buckley from Chester City and Dean Walker from Leigh RMI, but regular striker Paul Addo is sidelined after his third dismissal of the season in the cup tie,
"This is a massive six-pointer for both clubs but, if we can perform as in the last month, when we have not had any luck and results have gone cruelly against us, then we should be okay," says O'Shaughnessy.
Caersws arrive on the back of a three-match losing streak and manager Mike Barton also agrees the match is significant.
"It’s a massive game for us, it’s one we cannot afford to lose," he says.
Recent signing Gari Lewis from Aberystwyth may be added to the squad along with new recruit Mike Parry from Llangefni.
so it looks like Caernarfon could be playing with team that are not familiar with each other but the way Caernarfon played on Saturday that could be a benefit.
